the bad thing about the screeners i watched is that they are unfinished cuts w/out a lot of the special effects, there are some hilarious moments where everyone is supposed to be awed by the wall or whatever and the screen just says VFX TK or whatever

finally watched new ep <3 <3 it's getting exciting already! Leee otm, could watch Arya sword fight all day! She's so great. Hope we get more of Jon and the wall boys, that whole set is just so perfect, makes me reach for my blanket every time.

And I have mad love for Benjin...he's so perfect. Bit Timothy Daltony but still has that poise and mystique.

Carcetti is not nailing the accent at all. May as well drop it and go full Baltimore.

it's not even just the actual accent, it's the way he is speaking, really weird and overpronounced. maybe he's having probs with it and trying hard.

I am just glad the series is capturing exactly how awesome Arya is; also I am surprised at how much more sympathy I have for Sansa so far on screen as opposed to this point in the books.

I was afraid the actress who plays Cersi was on the verge of veering off into being terrible but it looks like she is really owning the sexy viper inherent in the character; Jamie OTOH has basically been perfect from the get-go.

were about a third of the way through, tho i think the danaerys story arc is moving faster in the tv series

my roommate is reading these books now too. shit is intense.

I curse my lack of cable and terrible internet connection. How long do these things take to come out on DVD? Please don't tell me that Martin has to oversee the DVD release because he doesn't have have time for this, I say.
