Controversial equaliser for ManU in 97th minute. Shame putting a tenner on it won't get you anywhere because it's so predictable.

RIP Brodie, aspiring bellhop boy, 4 months old (Le Bateau Ivre), Sunday, 1 May 2011 14:36 (fifteen years ago)

Despite bossing possession for the last half hour, United have hardly had any shots

trying to out arsenal arsenal

pandemic, Sunday, 1 May 2011 14:38 (fifteen years ago)

clichy giving valencia so much room it's unbelievable, unless the plan is to let them have it wide and defend the cross.

pandemic, Sunday, 1 May 2011 14:40 (fifteen years ago)

not a veteran arsenal watcher but i've never seen arshavin work as hard as this before.

pandemic, Sunday, 1 May 2011 14:41 (fifteen years ago)

arsenal calm the situation down by bringing eboue on.

pandemic, Sunday, 1 May 2011 14:42 (fifteen years ago)

These Arsenal players are starting to look tired after their mid-week away CL game.

James Mitchell, Sunday, 1 May 2011 14:43 (fifteen years ago)

arshavin midfield enforcer reducers left and right

pandemic, Sunday, 1 May 2011 14:44 (fifteen years ago)

He is going for it alright.

I can haz Hitzlsperger? (oppet), Sunday, 1 May 2011 14:45 (fifteen years ago)

important goal time, please no michael owen.

pandemic, Sunday, 1 May 2011 14:48 (fifteen years ago)

Michael Owen going to score.

think berba fouled before it got to owen, who was fouled

pandemic, Sunday, 1 May 2011 14:51 (fifteen years ago)

love Szczesny's wind up tactics.

I can haz Hitzlsperger? (oppet), Sunday, 1 May 2011 14:54 (fifteen years ago)

good to see that Chesney has that Jens-esque strain of cocky assholism. (xp)

Antoine Bugleboy (Merdeyeux), Sunday, 1 May 2011 14:55 (fifteen years ago)

dribble the ball into the farthest corner of the box and only then pick it up. i enjoyed that also

pandemic, Sunday, 1 May 2011 14:56 (fifteen years ago)

come the fuck on!!!!!

pandemic, Sunday, 1 May 2011 14:58 (fifteen years ago)

Not an important enough time to score for Mickey obviously.

pandemic, Sunday, 1 May 2011 14:59 (fifteen years ago)

well I never

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 1 May 2011 14:59 (fifteen years ago)

looking at it again not sure berba did commit a foul before owen brought down. Sets it up nicely for next week.

pandemic, Sunday, 1 May 2011 15:01 (fifteen years ago)

can arsenal still win it?

(。◕‿◕。) (cozen), Sunday, 1 May 2011 15:01 (fifteen years ago)

Shite. A win today would have more or less sealed it, a draw would have kept us favourites, I honestly think it's going to be Chelsea's now.

Que sera sera... (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 1 May 2011 15:01 (fifteen years ago)

Found Arshavin's performance frankly astonishing tbh.

pandemic, Sunday, 1 May 2011 15:02 (fifteen years ago)

Still think Utd won't lose at home to Chelsea, probably.

pandemic, Sunday, 1 May 2011 15:03 (fifteen years ago)

Chelsea weren't too impressive yesterday. I'm still relatively confident.

Number None, Sunday, 1 May 2011 15:13 (fifteen years ago)

Chelsea yesterday > United today

Que sera sera... (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 1 May 2011 15:16 (fifteen years ago)

It's at Old Trafford though. Something to cling to.

Number None, Sunday, 1 May 2011 15:18 (fifteen years ago)

Only just caught up with MOTD. The miss by Kenwynne Jones was disgraceful/hilarious.

pandemic, Sunday, 1 May 2011 15:19 (fifteen years ago)

Yeah, i don't think enough was made of that. One of the best of the season.

Number None, Sunday, 1 May 2011 15:20 (fifteen years ago)

Nice goal from De Jung there.

pandemic, Sunday, 1 May 2011 15:21 (fifteen years ago)

2-0 already. not sure i can be bothered.

pandemic, Sunday, 1 May 2011 15:27 (fifteen years ago)

still Utd's to lose by some distance. do only Utd fans think otherwise?

"Obviously, it gives Chelsea a major chance now and that's what happens when you get these decisions. They got one at Old Trafford last season so that's the worry now."

fair play to the lad, he just never gives up does he.

Antoine Bugleboy (Merdeyeux), Sunday, 1 May 2011 16:31 (fifteen years ago)

Lol massive Man City miss. Hope West Ham get something from this game now.

Demba Ba signing of the season

popular gay automobile (a hoy hoy), Sunday, 1 May 2011 16:36 (fifteen years ago)

Even if Chelsea win at Old Trafford, United have the advantage in the last two games. Can't believe we've hauled ourselves back into it, epic effort.

Watching last night's MOTD - Alan Shearer doesn't say a single thing that is true or accurate. Drogba was fantastic yesterday. Nonsense to say he was sulking.

isn't house rubbish and Pete W mental (Pete W), Sunday, 1 May 2011 21:23 (fifteen years ago)

ya I thought Torres was looking good and confident too, but Shearer went on and on about how he's so lacking in form and confidence. (Maybe he didn't notice that Fernando broke his duck last week?)

Antoine Bugleboy (Merdeyeux), Sunday, 1 May 2011 21:30 (fifteen years ago)

I thought Torres flattered to deceive really. Bit better than recently but never actually looked dangerous. Cue him scoring the winner against Utd next week.

Even if Chelsea win at Old Trafford, United have the advantage in the last two games

Who have Chelsea got? United's last two are against relegation-battling teams, which is both good (because we should be much better than them) and bad (they'll have everything to play for).

Can't believe we've hauled ourselves back into it, epic effort.

Chelsea's form this season has been beyond bizarre. I've never known a team be so good, then so bad, and now good again.

Que sera sera... (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 1 May 2011 21:37 (fifteen years ago)

Torres was great up until Spurs's goal, then he really struggled to get any space as Spurs sat deep en masse. He does have a tendency to melt when it's time to man up. I'd drop him for Sunday, not a time for risks when DD and Kalou are in form.

Fergie is going to spend a week whinging about last season; Carlo will be too polite to mention Macheda's handball goal at Old Trafford. Guaranteed the poor ref will have a mare.

isn't house rubbish and Pete W mental (Pete W), Sunday, 1 May 2011 21:38 (fifteen years ago)

We've got Newcastle at home, which is okay, and Everton away, which is tough. If it goes to goals, United have the edge unless we win by five next week...

I was actually rather looking forward to a quiet end to the season, but trying to enjoy it as I think the pressure is more on United.

isn't house rubbish and Pete W mental (Pete W), Sunday, 1 May 2011 21:42 (fifteen years ago)

Guaranteed the poor ref will have a mare

Hopefully United will clinch it with a Vidic handball that doesn't actually cross the line.

Que sera sera... (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 1 May 2011 21:42 (fifteen years ago)

In the 97th minute...

Just watched the highlights. Vidic is a dick. Yay for Ramsey. I hope he can continue to recover at pace.

popular gay automobile (a hoy hoy), Sunday, 1 May 2011 23:10 (fifteen years ago)

vidic is a dick

came here to post that exact thing, the guy is such a fucking dirty cheat, not least when he's getting outplayed.
