Most tasty. Made a zucchini/fennel/white bean/whole wheat penne pasta dish myself. Caught up on nearly all my writing work -- may be doing an interview with a couple of folks tonight about something but otherwise will happily and unreservedly chill and catch up on some recent music purchases.

Had an awesome time watching my neighbors partying too hard.
The scene: Baltimore, frat row, 2 am. I go out onto my second floor verandah to have a smoke. I look down and see one of my neighbors, shirtless and incredibly muscular and quite handsome, passed out next to a keg in his hammock, and the weight of his body slowly twists the hammock until his sleeping form is dumped facedown onto the concrete. Smack. Hard. He is stunned, barely conscious, but staggers to his feet. Tries to open his front door. Bangs on door to get attention. Nobody's home. He smashes the window of his own door, reaches through, and opens his front door. He pads up the stairs and out onto his verandah, which faces mine. I ask "are you okay dude?" and he mutters/mumbles "Ahhhmmm twennnnyone today. Sorry but I gotta puke" and then proceeds to shove his fingers down his throat so that he can vomit off the verandah onto our lawn. I tell him "watch out that you don't fall over that rail, it's pretty low". It really looks like he's going to fall off the building while trying to vomit. His friends arrive, walk out onto the verandah, don't notice me because they're looking at him, unzip and start to piss off the verandah, then see me and zip up and say, "Come on dude, you're going out" and proceed to escort his barely conscious but mobile body out the door and into the night, for more partying.

i went to a kegger. and, survey says...I've lost the ability to party hard like I could 5 years ago.
I had a splitting mid-evening hangover after 5 hours or so and was gone by 8:30 p.m.
it's getting to the point where I can't stay at parties more than 3 hours anymore lol

it's all good to me that our neighbors are obnoxious, loud, destructive etc. because we practice till all hours in our basement
we moved here because we knew it would be so noisy that no one would complain about our band
