PARKS and RECREATION aka "Everything's coming up Amy"

Nobody did it in Party Down, really. Wasn't faux documentary like P&R and Office. Some of April's best scenes involve her looking knowingly at the camera imo. It's the one reason I forgive P&R for copping that Office style.

I dunno. Just the few times that has happened it rubbed me the wrong way. He's fine as Ben the rest of the time, though the Ben/Leslie thing still seems a little forced as he really hasn't done much that's charming or endearing yet.

agree with that. though I'm glad they are not doing this, it seems like Ron & Leslie would be the natural unrequited romance storyline in the show to me.

Adam scott is a good comic actor, Krasinski is barely an actor, full stop. The looks at the camera don't really bug me, but I can get why ppl might get worn out seeing it. He's great in those scenes like the media blitz episode and the bit with Lil Sebastian.

I avoided this show for a long time fearing an 'Office' clone but it is in fact far superior. Huzzah.

It WAS a lame Office clone for most of its abbreviated first season, but it came back in its second year with most of the similarities stripped out and a bunch of funny in its place.

this whole show could be a stinking pile of crap but as long as it had ron it would still be AWESOME

i don't really hate the dudly office duo. i watch the show. and miraculously i think this has been the funniest season i've seen of the show! don't know how they did that at this late date. will ferrell helps, but even before he showed up it had some great episodes. and i don't blame pam & jim for taking movie work. they are after all professional actors riding a popularity wave. but they are sooooooooo small screen that it actually hurts to see them in movies. felt the same way about most of the friends cast. especially chandler bing.

I think the only movie I've seen Lisa Kudrow in was Mother. She was only in it for a couple of minutes, but she killed.

i can't remember if courtney cox was ever in a movie i liked. probably not. joey and chandler just horrible on the big screen though.

Kudrow's had a pretty solid post-Friends career although she definitely has taken too many shrew roles to i guess balance out the Phoebe typecasting. Aniston's movie career is a tabloid-fueled joke, Office Space aside.

I like a couple of the Scream movies.

Kudrow is kinda WTF? in Easy A.

i liked her in that! kinda let the character do an unexpected 180 at the end

oh yeah scream. but honestly that could have been any one of a million people in that role. she did all the screams too, right? that's too many screams for one person.

Kudrow is also great in the otherwise-terrible The Opposite of Sex.

Rob Lowe killed it in the open

Probably Adam Scott's strongest ep so far. He actually brought some personality this time. Playing his character off of April and Andy is a masterstroke.

yeah that was inspired. great odd couple possibilities there. they can go anywhere with that scenario. can't wait for a house party episode.
