This ep was pretty funny, but more than that, all the multilayered metatextual stuff this show does continues to be v. impressive.

Is 100 episodes still the milestone required for syndication? 30 Rock reruns would be a nice alternative to local news.

30 Rock starts on Comedy Central this fall.

It doesn't seem to matter so much anymore, especially with cable networks like Lifetime or TBS picking up sitcoms well before they hit 100 (The Office) or even if they never do (The Old Adventures of New Christine).

Yeah, I was just looking up the news for the CC deal and it's from 2009, so well before they reached 100 eps. (Variety also said there's a similar deal with WGN in place, and they were also shopping it to local tv markets. In other words, get ready to see 30 Rock with the same frequency you now see Raymond and Three and a Half Men.)

I don't have cable, but since I live in Chicago, I do have WGN.

cosign how exciting syndication is for 30 rock, esp since it's the kind of show that repays multiple viewers. even when raymond is funny (and that's rare imo) there's never a need to see any particular ep more than once.
