Also Abed's "There's a path that's taken and a path untaken. The choice is up to you my friend" made me lololol. Mr Veg thought I was lame for knowing the Whos The Boss theme song but I consider it a point of pride lol

i was absolutely dying at this, had to rewind and watch again, etc.

I love the idea of a clip show which features newly made clips.

that was really pretty amazing. i want to watch it again right now.

The thing where they were all coming in from the lake and Troy said something like "Blame me if you want, but rafts are supposed to go faster if you pop them in the back" KILLED ME.

was listening to the season 1 dvd commentaries and they were talking about all the ridiculous slow motion Jeff/Annie youtube tributes, loved how they parodied that

the whole thing was very inspired.

concept of a spoof of a clip show = best idea ever.

imo this episode was one of the easiest to laugh at because the laughs were frequent and simple

seriously. that speech near the end blew me away.

The Dean Pelton costume montage was fucking brilliant. As was every other aspect of this unfuckwithable episode.

counterpoint: that episode sucked.

OK, that was harsh, but man that was grating. chang used to be funny, and the plot of this episode seemed to draw attention to all the ways the show doesn't make me laugh. britta and jeff's simultaneous break up lines cracked me up though.

ah! The montage speech was excelllent! And I loved Dean Pelton's costumes. And Abed as the Cape! Hee hee.

Did anyone else notice that at the very end when Chang walks in that the wide shot of the diorama diorama has a tiny Chang standing outside the room looking in? <3

great episode

the slow-mo stuff had me in tears

we have all but the first two eps of the first season patiently waiting for us on our dvr. everytime the cable fucks up and a guy has to come out our biggest fear is that he'll take the dvr away.

something i learned today: joel mchale was born in rome and baptized in the vatican. crazy.

last night was k-classic, I'm getting nervous for the two-part paintball season finale though.

i liked 30 rock last night but this episode took the thursday night cake. and even parks & rec was awesome too and this episode still took the cake. 30 rock ended up looking a little lazy with their actual flashback montages. the whole ghost town thing...

What is The Cape?

When Abed sneaks up on Jeff in the cafeteria and knocks over his food, I laughed so hard my dad knocked on my door to see what was happening.

The Cape was a failed NBC superhero show from earlier this season. Never saw it, but by all accounts it was awful.

I laughed hard about that, and pretty much all the Cape stuff, too

Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas, I believe, was the first. That may not be the actual title.

Modern Warfare?

yah "Modern Warfare" is definitely a course title. and the pilot was just called "Pilot" obv. the only one i'm kind of on the fence about is "Pascal's Triangle Revisited."

I guess I'll take your word for it. It's a hard thing to Google, with all of the Call of Duty and Community references.

I'm sure Modern Warfare is a 101 course at most of the service colleges, and would probably extend into civilian colleges for ROTC programs and whatever.

The Cape was incredibly awful, and every single one of those Cape jokes had me rolling
