they claim that A small number of both Jewish and non-Jewish Spurs fans use the Y word in what they consider to be an inoffensive manner.

In my admittedly distant experience, it is used by basically every Spurs fan.

ChelseaFC TV presenter Gigi Salmon (great name) clearly is, and after inviting Daily Mirror hack Martin Lipton on her show on Thursday, she decided to take the old boy to task.

Lipton had scribbled a half-arsed story on Thursday morning claiming that 'dressing room sources' at Chelsea had told him that they want Jose Mourinho back at the club, and the wonderful Ms Salmon decided to press him on where he'd got his story from.

kinda a 50/50 tbh...he's never gonna reveal a source if someone did say it. but it's not even that contentious anyway, of course some of the players want jose back. could be a made up story but even still.....don't feel it's that heinous.

West Ham - Villa was an awesome game

As much as Stewart Downing is the most boring footballer/human being on the planet, I've gotta say he is the Villa player I've most enjoyed watching this season - he has a kind of scampering, pixie-like, possession-retaining self-assurance that makes me think he will improve imperceptibly each year until he ends up having two seasons for Barca at the age of 32
