they've not always been good defensively, but meireles carroll and suarez is quite encouraging.

They were amazingly fluid last night, combined with the pressing (and an abject City) it looked amazing, frankly, and I hardly even saw any of the first half. Certainly it was nothing like watching them in the first half of the season. Meireles was already good and is getting more on it with every game, Suarez was fantastic from day one, and I don't know how anyone can't be excited about Carroll after that.

But y'know, good post.

Would be politically virtually impossible to let Dalglish go unless they were replacing him with, like, Guardiola or someone. It's still difficult to tell quite how good he is, or can be, though.
