Maybe I'm too close to the theater world (or too easily amused) but I thought the Hugh Jackman sketch was hilarious, especially Kenan as Ice Cube.

Yeah, I'd only recently come around on Gilly, so now I'm a little sad there will be no more sketches.

I'm prob in the minority, but Penelope and Gilly were actually two of my fave Wiig characters. Target Lady not so much.

work on the tweet is that Madonna and Gaga were filming some video together, possibly for SNL.

This is the list of the last 3 eps this year, with Gaga being the musical performer on the finale. SNL usually goes big to end a season, so a Madonna cameo thing wouldn't surprise me (especially with Justin being there too).

SNL did kind of break Adele in the US, though, so who knows what will happen. Tina Fey's a good lure to get people watching a particular episode.

Phoenix were also on a good 3 months before Wolfgang came out.

Huh, I didn't realize that the performance antedated the album release, though it looks like it was only about six weeks (early April to late May), so the singles were already in circulation. Also, the reason I didn't realize that is b/c the album leaked in March, IIRC.

Ah, you're right. I just remember the album actually being released happening a dog's age after it leaked.

Ellie Goulding was every bit the dud I expected.
