Hello sorry - I have actually finished it (it was done Sunday night) but I've been porting it about and obsessively listening to it on different systems to check the mastering - which I've decided is horrible and muddy and bass heavy as normal so I'm gonna go home tonight and remaster it without all the compression on the kick and the bassline and see if I like it any better.

Even if I don't, you'll have it on Wednesday honest.

mine is an identical note for note reproduction, y'all are just a bunch of lazy bums

i've got serious respect for anyone who did a real cover, those songs are nuts

my song was "inspired by" the original, but it ended up going in a pretty different direction.

Remastered and sent.

I tried doing a straight cover, but it just sounded utterly ridiculous, so instead I took one of the riffs in the song and the lyrics and built a new song around it like I was remixing it. So I'm hoping that I preserved enough of the original song to be appropriate.

ned can you record these "lyrics" and I will put them over "disco inferno" or 5 minutes of oscillator noise or something... however I doubt it will ever match the sheer insanity that is the original...
