I have no problems with nudity where it's expected; changing rooms, saunas, the great outdoors etc.

Poor Tuomas started this thread in such an earnest spirit of scientific inquiry into cultural differences. And now it's turned into lasagne. On the other hand, he did post the following to the "Fashions you miss" thread, giving a clue as to why Finns actually prefer seeing each other nude to seeing each other clothed...

I miss the early nineties Euro-hip hop fashion, you know, über-wide trousers and big sweatshirts with weird pictures or patterns in 'em. And the assortment of colours! Orange, light green, light blue, even pink! It's the only time in my life I've looked cool wearing a pair of orange jeans the size of a tent.
Compared to that, the US hip hop fashion always looked bland to me.
