It was "Yeah, she died like 20 minutes later."

Jouster, Saturday, 26 March 2011 08:42 (fifteen years ago)

The defeated way he slumped back to his chair when he discovered the door was locked was a nice bit of comic acting.

trishyb, Saturday, 26 March 2011 09:36 (fifteen years ago)

I guess I missed more than the last line!

dan selzer, Saturday, 26 March 2011 16:07 (fifteen years ago)

re: this show being "nice,"

I do kind of like how andy evolved from disgusting, self-centered manchild to well-meaning naif in three seasons. Like he went from being the worst boyfriend for a 33 year old to the best boyfriend for a 20 year old, which is kind of a nice repurposing.

I usually am the one rooting against characters hooking up but April/Andy are so excellent, it makes me very happy

In-season dead weeks are a regular thing with broadcast network shows (cable shows not so much).

starting to think that maybe vague hipster cachet is a poor substitute for actual comic gifts

history mayne, Monday, 4 April 2011 23:14 (fifteen years ago)

Doesn't mean you can't keep trying!

yeah it's a lot easier to avoid stopping and starting when your tv "series" are only six episodes long.

congratulations (n/a), Monday, 4 April 2011 23:40 (fifteen years ago)

I saw a trailer for a gritty 'n' serious-looking film & was surprised to see Rashida Jones was the lead, because I only know her from this & Chapelle's Show.

this is vintage "being an aggressive dick for no discernible reason" material from n/a

poxy british series and their meagre six-episode runs

if only our "seasons" ran for seven months
