at this point i think paul schneider was funnier than adam scott is. also i think i am finally deciding that i "dont get"/"dont really like" aziz ansari

still dig this show a lot though, mostly on the back of poehler/chris pratt/nick offerman, and the guest spots are all terrific. they should bring back louis c.k.

this show is full of cute, insufficiently funny people. ok it has three (aubrey plaza, rashida jones, adam scott). rob lowe is beyond cute and actually kind of funny in it.

yeah i was annoyed when j0rdan said Community was more cute than funny but i think that description really fits P&R. it's very very cute.

Also very positive. I love seeing Leslie so determined to do something.

xp in fact yeah, one of the really great things about this show is that there's no mean humour. You've not got say a Dwight making people's lives hell or a Jack Donaghy arbitrarily putting people down.

okay so i spent the last few days watching a shitload of party down, and now i see why people are annoyed at adam scott getting dumb lines that don't do him justice. i hope now that the harvest festival is over and they're moving on to new plotlines, he'll get something better to do.

oh and because this season is shorter than usual, the p&r people spent their free time writing a book about Pawnee.

I wish there was more of Jerry and Ron fishing.

I do kind of like how andy evolved from disgusting, self-centered manchild to well-meaning naif in three seasons. Like he went from being the worst boyfriend for a 33 year old to the best boyfriend for a 20 year old, which is kind of a nice repurposing.

I usually am the one rooting against characters hooking up but April/Andy are so excellent, it makes me very happy

yeah it's a lot easier to avoid stopping and starting when your tv "series" are only six episodes long.

I saw a trailer for a gritty 'n' serious-looking film & was surprised to see Rashida Jones was the lead, because I only know her from this & Chapelle's Show.
