well, I'm PO'd cuz the St Paul Saints are on the road (cuz the Twins are home) during the confab, so I was in fact thinking of making a diversion to see Quad Cities. All theoretical at the moment tho.

I do have to say, for minor league baseball, dsm has a nice stadium

nope. rent a car. It'll be way cheaper than a plane ticket. I think it's a five-and-a-half hour drive, and taking everything into account, that plane ride will take up a good three hours of your day.

A friend of mine biked down to Iowa. It's flat, so it'll be an easy 350 miles.

There is. 11-1/2 hours, starting at 5:30am!
