perhaps it's for the best, honestly

yeah I'd much rather he kill the thing off with dignity and start new on a project he would be clearly excited about than limp along going forward.

The uniqueness of Morgan's character and his ability to energize a team -- and a city -- have been the chronograph of what makes the Brewers tick. But Wednesday night, we might have witnessed something that could turn the fairy tale into an Achewood-like graphic novel with a bad ending.

I looked at "achewood dot com" today because nothing fills my heart with more joy than a long-dead web comic displaying its last update, an unfunny mess that came after an erratic tapering off period, an unfunny mess optimistically promising lots and lots more updates! Updates all the time! He's got it on a randomizer, though, so if I wanted to see the one last futile promise of lots more content...it's there somewhere. Somewhere in my heart! If I ever commit suicide, that's the kind of note I'd leave. "Lots of updates, I promise!"

apparently he's shutting down the fanflow now.

Teodor's blog has some doozies in it also
Bill’s wife Shelley or someone had turned on one of those Pottery Barn holiday CDs in the living room, and some rich people were “getting loose,” inasmuch as there were basically quotation marks surrounding everyone on the dance floor, metaphorically speaking. Women in thin white sweaters and tall leather boots with spiky heels were physically moving around on top of the cream colored carpet in ways that said, “Sex with me will be a painfully one-sided, seven thousand pound letdown after a long, horrible night of lying to yourself.” One particularly wild woman had taken her shoes off. Perhaps she had been at Woodstock, or knew how to hold an ocarina.

it really doesn't seem like he wants to write Achewood anymore, he's just using the characters because they give him more of an audience than if he started something new.
