I agree if Kenny had taken the job in Summer still don't think we would be top 3. But Torres, Carra, Gerrard have been missing for large parts of his short reign anyway, Meireles hasn't taken 6 mths to adapt he's been good every time he's played in position, the players were never in danger of not getting paid as far as I remember, Torres left and Pepe is STILL flirting with other clubs. Other than that OTM.

It's really strange to have been willing that one in so much. Effing Drigba though, not moving and making everyone else come and celebrate with him.

If Chelsea do end up winning the league (which is by no means implausible, given Arsenal's flakiness and United's injuries (plus the fact they haven't looked that good most of the time anyway)) that must be one of the strangest title winning seasons ever? To crush everyone 7-0 for the first couple of months, then slump to relegation form for months, and then suddenly turn it around.

Still Utd's to lose tbh (obv). Saturday a classic case of doing just enough, knowing that the pressure is on the chasing pack not on the leaders. Has been Fergie's mantra for a long time.

Terrible as Utd are, they're nearly home & dry already I reckon. Chelsea would still have to put together a run better than anyone's managed all season*, bar maybe themselves at the very start, to have a prayer.
