It was snowing during the morning yesterday but then it warmed up and most of it melted, enough so that I biked to the corner store around 4PM on clear roads. Been snowing a bit off and on today, but not really enough to stick.

Sounds like it didn't snow yesterday in Seattle though? I just was under the assumption that it had.
― banjee trillness (The Reverend), Wednesday, 23 February 2011 23:50 (fifteen years ago)
It did snow in Seattle. I watched the snow fall off and on all day on the corner of 11th and Pine. Snowed quite heavily at times during the afternoon and again from 5-6:30. There was snow on all the cars and roofs this morning but virtually none on the yards/trees.

Pouring down snow in the south end just now :) I flew in last night from AL and was worried; glad it held off until today though the commute tomorrow could be treacherous.

I don't know why I expected different, but my mind was blown when I was visiting Seattle and heard how little snow they get. That made me want to live there even more.

Bill Gates's magic snow fence stopping it at the eastern lakeshore? The line was at I-405/I-90 intersection at noon-thirty - boring old rain on Mercer Island, delightful white flakes in Bellevue.
― Jaq, Tuesday, 17 January 2012 22:35 (fourteen years ago)
I'm thinking we maybe oughta postpone quiz again...
― kate78, Tuesday, 17 January 2012 22:39 (fourteen years ago)
Yes :( Oh well, I'd rather be warm and dry at home than slogging around lower QA looking for parking amid the wrecked and abandoned buses.
― Jaq, Tuesday, 17 January 2012 22:42 (fourteen years ago)
...which is how I spent Sunday on First Hill.
― kate78, Tuesday, 17 January 2012 22:45 (fourteen years ago)
Ugh. Wish I'd gotten home from Alabama earlier in the week, I would have been around to help you move. Did you get a pic of the van in the tree?
― Jaq, Tuesday, 17 January 2012 23:03 (fourteen years ago)
