i am finally done with a three-day course in perl, a computer scripting language i have NO INTEREST IN EVER LEARNING but which i had to deal with because well, my boss has to put SOMETHING in my yearly evaluation about "progress" and "development" and it was taught by the biggest TWAT of a teacher i have ever come across, EVER!!!! he bragged at the beginning about working out "in the states" during "the dotcom years" and how he sold his company but "lost it all" in the "crash" (so i guess you accepted stock options YOU DOUCHE) and proceed to blow through about 300 slides that were riddled with not only typos but plain INCORRECT STUFF which our resident brusher-upper who was also taking the course had to point out to him.

TIP FOR TEACHERS: never EVER say "this is easy" or "it's not rocket science" or "did you get that, tracer? this one's pretty easy" - if it was easy we wouldn't be here, you gangrenous cockfarmer. EXTRA FREE TIP: don't split the class into the "slow" group and the "expert" group and the SPEND ALL YOUR TIME TALKING WITH THE PEOPLE FOR WHOM THE LESSONS ARE NO PROBLEM.

lauriol plaza was a popular neighborhood tex/mex restaurant in DC that moved a few years ago into a large, modern-ish space (immediately adjacent to a primarily residential area) with copious outdoor seating that rapidly became packed to the gills at many hours with lots of loud margarita-drinkers and could be said to be a destination restaurant for "douches." i have never been there.
