PARKS and RECREATION aka "Everything's coming up Amy"

Found them all funny, but with P&R in the lead this time. Three of my favorite shows all in one night, an embarrassment of riches.

They were all funny, and Community had some golden bits, but I can't get behind the "top of their game" description for Community and 30R. That's a really high standard and I wont go bandying such high praise about willynilly. THIS COMEDY THING IS SERIOUS BUSINESS.

thought this was a really good episode. laughed a lot. enjoyed the new sets. Sympathized with Ron about the steakhouse being closed and none of the alternatives measuring up (I feel like I was once in a similar situation, but can't remember specifics). I found it really funny that the fact that the place was closed for health code violations did not give him a moment's pause. I think they could do a whole episode with Ron and Leslie in a car and I'd love it. Great chemistry between those two characters/actors.

Thought Leslie's cheering up of Anne in the car was great.

"what do you think happened to all the steaks they had in there? Did they eat them?"

love that he wore his bib to the restaurant

"i want all your eggs and bacon"

these shows all burn their brightest under threat of cancellation. I wouldn't mind if these shows got cancelled if they were replaced
by equally awesome shows that also went out in a blaze of awesome.

Also, if her latest New Yorker confessional is any indication, Tina Fey could use some time off.

I think last week's episode was a lot better, but April and Andy stealing shit was hilarious/adorable.

And I don't really get where they're going with the Ben character.

I prefer schneider to Scott too.

I thought it was hilarious that Ann had never been dumped before and didn't realize it when it happened. Further lols at other people knowing and her continuing to not know.

Adam Scott's role is easy to explain, really. He even did it himself in this episode. New guy who moves around a lot, doesn't see the point in forging relationships, then finds out people in Pawnee are embracing him (they knew what kind of beer he likes) then he gets Tom's back by spraying "Tommy Fresh" in the perfume dude's Escalade. I can see him being super eager to be everyone's friend in future episodes almost to the point of annoyance.

It's almost impossible for me to watch Adam Scott in this and not think of Henry Pollard.

Saw that. He said something about what his studio used to be in the past before it was his studio, but now I can't remember what it was. Was cool, though.

It sounds like a scene from the show, in the same way Tracy Morgan setting fire to his fishtank sounded like a scene from 30 Rock. Love this sort of thing.

funnier than anything in this week's ep

Schneider's character was so redundant that even he looked confused about why he was there.

Sometimes they'd even have the action go past his office just so he could turn to camera and indicate a response, like they felt sorry for him and thought he should be involved somehow.

That was always hilarious. Like in the PIGGYBACK BAM! episode.

I like him on P&R but I don't really think losing him would be the end of the world.

Yeah, he's not vital, but I really appreciate him being around. Plus, Two and a Half Men is the ENEMY.

Two And A Half Men is a way better show than P&R but i can't see Lowe fitting into the former as well as he has on the latter
