I did watch this one, and I liked it. I saw one a few months ago but couldn't follow it because I didn't know who anyone was. I'll keep watching, Wednesdays are good.

Yes, first episode was last night. Now it's the 6th episode tonight, as they skipped over 2-5, which weren't that important to the plot (though some were quite good). So they'll be repeating the whole season on Wednesdays all summer. I think in some areas there might be encore presentations on Saturdays or Sundays. But not everywhere.

And then season 2 will also premiere on Wednesdays in the fall!

four weeks pass...

Charisma Carpenter and Steve Guttenberg are going to have recurring guest roles next season. Charisma as an aging trophy wife and Steve Guttenberg as Woody Goodman, mayoral candidate. Which is strangely perfect in ways that I can't quite express.

I think the character Charisma is playing was described as "Bunny Lebowski ten years later" so I guess in that sense she is aging.

Right. I worry about the role a little bit, because I always thought CC was the weak link (or, y'know, one of them) on Buffy and Angel.

I liked AH on Buffy, but she didn't pull off being a skank very well on VM.

CC I never liked. She was just...off her game about 50% of the time.

two weeks pass...

I've been watching on and off (I don't have complete mastery over the VCR), but the Silence Of The Lamb episode (the guitar string serial killer ep) is the first one that makes me want to watch four or five episodes in a row now.

I hate the cover for that dvd. ALSO, if it doesn't come out till October 11, how is it going to be released before season 2? Is season two starting THAT LATE? Is it not being RELEASED before season 2? So many questions.

Yes. I still watch it, though. It'd be just my luck if the show got amazing the moment I stopped watching it (I like the premise, I've just hated, well, pretty much everything about the execution).
