rest of the weekend: work on final projects for school (next week is the last week of the semester, y'all) and ???

yeah i'm pretty sure i'm not coming down tonight for stella, i need a weekend to chill and clean my apartment, maybe play percussion on a friend's gig tonight.

sarah is saying we should be crazy social and go to the party we were invited to tomorrow AND karaoke, we'll see if that actually happens

Tonight: Going to Moline, Illinois for our firm holiday party (leaving in a minute). Spending the night there.

Tomorrow: Returning.

Sunday: Returning.

I will prossibly go to karaoke on Saturday.

Tomorrow we are probs cleaning our house because I fired the people that we have been paying to clean it because they keep neglecting to show up and clean. Or call. Or return my phone calls. Then maybe karaoke?
Sunday I am going to make Delaware-style chicken and dumplings in my new dutch oven.

I am one of two people doing laundry on this cold ass night, but the laundromat TV is playing How Jim Carey Ruined Christmas and that's kind of ducking up my pleasant laundromat evening. Just one more reason to hate Jim Carey.

guys, i know this is stating the obvious it is fucking frigid out there. it wasn't so bad when i walked to meet sarah at the belmont stop because i was walking, but we had to stand in line outside the vic for like half an hour before they opened the doors and that ... sucked.

In preparation for the final half season, we're watching Battlestar Galactica over from the beginning. It's hard because I like these characters and I know what terrible things will befall them.

when do the new shows start up again? i need to get the doohickey that lets me hook up our laptop to our new tv so we can watch the new episodes via hulu. or we just need to fucking pay for cable.

Nick: January 16, 2009. I HATE paying for cable. It's one of those random things that disproportionately piss me off because it is SO FUCKING EXPENSIVE. I'm all overly attached to the DVR thing, though, but I think that TV on the Internet will improve in the next year to the point that cable becomes totally unnecessary. Of course then Comcast will charge twice as much for internet alone as they charge for internet and cable (we got cable in the first place because it was cheaper to have internet and basic cable than it was to have just the internet). Fuckers.
