Having said ooh not 2 mins ago that I'd settle for 6th I'm now debating whether I want Chelsea to win their 2 games with Man Utd so Utd don't win the league, or if I want Utd to win them both so we can catch Chelsea!!

Yeah I think City are the main challengers. I just can't take Arsenal seriously for some reason. Well for lots of reasons tbh. But having said for most of the season that I haven't been all that impressed with Man U, they are still the most impressive of the top teams by far, and the least flakiest.

He ran about but hardly touched the ball, sent one effort high and wide and one blocked by Carragher and got subbed off after about 65 mins. If you saw him play any of LFC's games under Hodgson, barring the Chelsea game, then that's what he did today and got about the same level of service tbf.

Chelsea playing 4-3-3 with a still-below-par Lampard and two defensive midfielders is leaving them pretty lacking in the creativity and width department.

Seeing Dalglish in the dugout reminded me of one of the greatest performances I've ever seen by an away team at the Bridge, 5-2 Liverpool win in 1989. Ray Houghton was outstanding, first time I saw what a real player can do with movement and space and talented teammates. That Liverpool team was one of the three best I've ever seen.
