Liverpool seem to be spending an insane amount of money for a club who don't know who they're going to be managed by in six months time but hey Comolli I suppose.

If I choose not to think about the money and we end up with Carroll, Adams,and Suarez and minus Babel, Torres, and Konchesky then I think the team just got better, but I find it hard NOT to think about the money. Doesn't seem like the best use of resources to me.

I think that's the order of preference right there.

Suarez the most sensible signing, yeah. But Carroll could be an era-defining player potentially - high odds maybe, but there aren't many with that raw package. I do hope they've considered a plan to stop him gazzafying.
