holy jesus this week's episode. i was drunk, but still. chuck bass.

only saw the end of this. i don't like the guy serena's dating.

after seeing the ridiculous brando pretender, i switched it off and take it all back.

i don't really get why women love chuck bass.
is it just because he's rich and dresses like a dandy?

also, i think i need to add this show to the list of things not to watch cuz too bleak, along with law & order and the news.

Women love Chuck Bass? I find him pretty repellent. Actually, at this point I find all the guys on the show apart from Rufus pretty repellent.

Chuck's still too good at seeming slimy, even though he's less one-dimensional and kind of entertaining with Blair. Nate just has no character at this point apart from bouncing between women, he just seems like a prop for them.

this episode was great, and the preview of the next ep had me in stitches - chuck bass as the lizard king. what i'd really like is a blair, chuck, and dorota show. more melodrama, please.

my sister just talked me back into watching this show. it needs 500% more chuck and blair.

in my limited viewing, chuck bass seems like the kind of guy who takes his ball and goes home because he'll never be as entertaining as jeremy darling

haha, aaron is SUCH an ass. loved his implication that serena's stepfather's sudden death and her family's implosion etc were poor reasons for refusing his surprise offer of a trip, departing immediately.

DEBATABLE. she was SO into it until dan started playing all puppy-in-the-time-of-need

she was so into it until aaron decided he was so into her and got all creepy "i'm your man" on her. but hey, i can't stand him and hope that he gets written out of the show asap (maybe he can fall into the iguazu falls while they're vacationing?) so anything i say should be taken with a huge grain of salt.

Ugh, I do not get Aaron. At all. He's boring and wooden and needs a haircut and Serena is always way too tense around him. This episode was fantastic though, and I actually cried during the Blair holding/consoling Chuck scene. (Not so great considering I was watching this on my ipod in the News International canteen.)

well ya know what, i don't know what else to say. even my little cousin, who is related to me, doesn't like aaron. so i think i have some kind of fucked up gene.

Underwhelming. Strung out Chuck equals boring Chuck.

Also, the Serena and Dan thing was too easy. They should have let Dan find out first, and then deny Serena.

definitely an underwhelming return (that episode where chuck's on the roof). boring chuck.

BUT the episode after that was GREAT. the chuck + lily union is awesome. when he saves her in the restroom, that acting on her part really shook me, when she thanks him as she's being escorted out.

good times.

i kind of in love with chuck. i probably already said that. i did like that line about the the note from his father probably asking 'why do you wear so much purple?'

ending narration by kristen bell was written as nonsensical as grey's anatomy or heroes. not that it's a problem, just an observation.

I haven't seen this thread until now(I think). I love the fact that the same people who occupied the OC thread are writing in this thread :)

Gotta say that I find this show way more entertaining(apart from the first season of the OC maybe), and prettier to look at compared to the OC.

yeh, just a rerun. ep 2.17 on monday. rumour is chuck and blair are getting back together, again.

funniest part of this ep was when nate and vanessa started playing their own version of the Eyes Wide Shut piano music at that mansion.

overall, kind of a routine episode, slightly daft -- i don't like blair.
