I wore shorts today, but I am a heavy sweater. It was a good call.

I don't want to be at work today. I really need a haircut, but I also want to go to guitar stores and look at guitars and if I get a haircut I won't have time for that. But I REALLY need a haircut.

My trainer just called me. He's kind of fickle in his scheduling, so to make up for it, he is giving me a ride to the gym when I'm his first appointment of the day! Hooray! HOOOORRAAAAY11111!!!!!

I went to the Spice House this weekend and bought some things (refills of regular stuff, mostly), but as an impulse buy I got this and now I want to put it on (almost) everything I eat.

Here is a description:
Hand mixed from: Salt, Louisiana Chile Mash, Garlic, Habanero Chile, Shallots, Tellicherry Pepper, Lime Peel, Pimenton de La Vera, Picane, Cumin, allspice and Vinegar.

I also bought some shichimi togarashi (aka Japanese 7-spice) and am looking forward to trying it in some NOODLE SOUP.

Hmmm. I *was* going to go get some lunch, but I may actually skip it so as to maintain the illusion that it's not hot as fuck outside. As soon as I got here this morning I cranked the a/c DOOOOOWWWWN.

also, the spice house might have a different quality of spices than cheapo store brands. when i started cooking with penzey's spices i had to decrease the amounts i usually used because they were more potent.
