Thought we played well 1st half. Didn't see the 2nd but sounds like there's no confidence there at all.

It was like a performance under Hodgson with a bit more trying, basically. Suggests the problem may in fact lie with the playing staff after all, who'd've thought it? Torres scored a peach after two mins running into space (both defences very open throughout). Blackpool equalised soon after following some possession sloppiness from Liverpool. Scored their winner maybe 65 mins in, can't really remember it but think a header after slack marking? Blackpool finished by far the stronger side. Meireles subbed off late on, he looks a broken man now.

In summary - have had better nights, but they were ages ago.

Will Liverpool ever reach those Hodgsonesque heights again?
