he's great, bcos he clearly thinks, like bendntnder, that he's one of the world's great talents, and tries stuff accordingly. And every now and again it even works
― all i gotta do is akh nachivly (darraghmac), Monday, 27 December 2010 21:39 (fifteen years ago)
lol remember when wenger shunted diaby to the left wing for a season to improve his left foot, and he was recorded making about three touches with his left foot all season
never change

as someone who prematurely said chelsea were going to win the premiership about 3 months ago, can i now say that Man U are going to win. Chelsea will need to rally drastically to get to finish 2nd.

Always enjoy hearing him speak though. I never normally hang around for the Sky studio bit - rather awkward, isn't it?

Balotelli regrets moving to City and wants to go back to Italy. Man, that City dressing room must be the worst fucking place in the country, including the prisons.
― Matt DC, Tuesday, 28 December 2010 02:52 (fifteen years ago)
nakh essien and lampard had their first starts coming back from injury playing arsenal at home. not exactly the one game to write off the rest of their careers.
diaby is not as bad as darragh makes him sound jordan. in fact, he's exactly the sort of player spurs could do with atm next to thudd. being good enough for spurs is quite different for good enough for arsenal doe.
yeah city dressing room seems like a ghastly place.

i don't think essien was ever quite as good as some ppl thought, rmde at yr pl pace/power/passion fundamentalists who would rather him than xavi
he is a 'force of nature' kinda player with neat short passing but not inventive enough to run a midfield
ramires was a waste of money, i've never rated him for brazil and chelsea is another midfield that needs skill and vision rather than extra solidity

vmic
he seems to haapy to be a reserve most of the time, he has an unusual level of skill for a player of his size and can be relied upon to provide a nuisance, mostly to the opposition
― Rockcrit from the Tuoms (nakhchivan), Tuesday, 28 December 2010 14:48 (fifteen years ago)
i spend my life vmic. Ppl make allowances eventually.
Essien was never yr creative midfielder, he did (and will do again) everything else you's want from your centre and more.
― all i gotta do is akh nachivly (darraghmac), Tuesday, 28 December 2010 15:10 (fifteen years ago)
baird!
West Brom are fucking beautiful.
― The referee was perfect (Chris), Tuesday, 28 December 2010 15:18 (fifteen years ago)
This is probably getting boring now, but West fucking Brom. Had a throw in near their own goal, left back took it, they passed their way out of their own box, Scharner ran it out and passed it across to the left back who had bombed on after taking the throw... just making everything they do look so effortless. The midfield's so fluid! They're a joy to watch.

what'd kboul do?
― all i gotta do is akh nachivly (darraghmac), Tuesday, 28 December 2010 16:31 (fifteen years ago)
head butt on Tiote. More like an agressive head rub than a butt, to be honest. They were both jawing and Kaboul pushed his noggin onto Tiote's face. At least Tiote didn't go down like he was shot or anything.
― EZ Snappin, Tuesday, 28 December 2010 16:33 (fifteen years ago)
Blackpool are 15 points away from the magic 40, assuming this is the end result. And West Brom 18. Surely they must do it....
