I have the pleasure of driving through Hollywood every day and still seeing the billboard for the film up and Tommy glaring at me as if to say, "I telled you I could make movie."

i ordered the dvd of this off the official website to give to my sister for christmas, and tommy wiseau signed it "to (my sister), may all your dreams come true, love tommy w." i don't normally get starstruck, but i'm fangirling the fuck out right now.

on the other hand, tommy wiseau now knows where i live, so.

i'm watching this right now with people who have never seen it before. i love their startled reactions to how bizarre and strange it is.

lololol, this time i was just watching it and so much of the dialogue felt new. i think it's bc most of the dialogue is totally unnecessary and unmemorable so there's stuff you filter out every time you watch it. it's like a really great album, it repays repeated watchings.

I think it sort of goes without saying that Wiseau couldn't have made a feature film without a lot of help from opportunistic hacks like that guy.

also lol at the idea that this director somehow embraced the badness while tommy didn't. afaic they are all to blame (to praise really) for the end result.

I gotta go to a cinema showing of this again. I haven't laughed so hysterically in all my life. I lost my voice from laughing and shouting at the screen.

i dunno, a friend of mine has interviewed quite a few cast members and it sounds like Wiseau was pretty involved as a director.

i mean this dude is wack. he filmed the whole movie pretty much with another dude cast as 'mark' and re-did it because the dude wasn't quite up to snuff (and casting his very eager personal assistant)

actually mark is the best. i am really glad he swooped in and made it amazing with lines like KEEP YOUR COMMENTS IN YOUR POCKET
