Preventing posting of duplicate messages would be a nice addition sometime (or I could develop some self-control and patience and not hit the Post button over and over if it takes more than a moment to post...)

It does grey out. But besides my frantic, impatient repeated pushing the Post button, there was at least one inexplicable triple post, perhaps due to a twitchy thumb.

That error message about the old-style bookmarks comes up when the connection drops out. I suspect the error text is just wrong.

I see this too and am on it. I haven't changed in anything in the relevant bits, so I'm guessing it's iOS 4.2. That bookmark error is actually supposed to be a suggestion -- the idea is that it comes up when bookmarking fails and suggests you might try double-checking the setting in preferences, but there wasn't enough space to make it clear. Am rewriting all that code just now anyway for increased betterness.

(I also see the huge long pauses in posting in Chrome on ILX sometimes too. Wonder if they're related. (I use Google networking code)).

downloaded it last week, love its logic. suggestion - instantly to the top of the page by tapping the top bar? (like in safari?) i like to read the openingpost and it would be handy for polls as well...

i think it does that already? i think all scrolling iphone apps do automatically...

Is anyone else having a problem with missing text? I'll use it for a couple of days and then threads will load with text missing all over the place.

These things fix it:

- clearing memory using System Activity Monitor app
- closing a load of open apps
- rebooting phone

It happens in Tapatalk as well (link here, scroll down to CptanPanic's post) so I assume it's an iOS library issue.

oh and I don't think Tapatalk has fixed it yet.

on ios4-- anyway to make it so that when viewing a youtube in zing's safari mode you can multitask/ have youtube audio playing in the background?

i'm having the same issue as blank. and i don't even have any bookmarks right now, so i don't see anything when i load zing touch (or zing lite for that matter). it is sad.
i also can't seem to set bookmarks in regular ol ilx either atm, if that has anything to do with anything...

Mine has been working perfectly, but a friend told me she has been unable to post for a few days. She can read threads, just not post.

Yep I get a blank screen too, and "no new bookmarks". It was ok a few days ago. Having to use safari ugh. I should just get out of bed and use my PC lol
