Bollocks.

I see what this is (Local Garda), Sunday, 28 November 2010 17:58 (fifteen years ago)

feel as if rafa used up ten years of lfc luck the fluke 2nd season. They didnt deserve to lose that.

"And the irony will not be lost on those in Liverpool that they have been sunk by a man named Lennon" - Jon Champion

second week in a row you've been all ~didn't deserve this smdh~

some grim residual catholicism imo

no ~deserve~ in football

calpolaris (nakhchivan), Sunday, 28 November 2010 18:04 (fifteen years ago)

Missed most of the second half but can't complain I expect. I do wish Torres would wake up though, it's getting beyond a joke, he's not moving properly, not making proper runs - it's been put down to bad tactics before, but no excuse in that game imo

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 28 November 2010 18:10 (fifteen years ago)

Also, how many comebacks is that now for the season?

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 28 November 2010 18:10 (fifteen years ago)

conserving energy for the big move in january xp

liverpool owe him more than he owes them

calpolaris (nakhchivan), Sunday, 28 November 2010 18:11 (fifteen years ago)

will try that on my boss tomorrow, thanks

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 28 November 2010 18:13 (fifteen years ago)

just callin as i see it, lfc could have had a peno and bassong made three great last chance tackles on torres. We've not mugged them, we missed a peno, two goalline clearances. But we got an og and a counter in injury time, we were lucky

Eh, Liverpool were toothless. Spurs wanted it more, to trot out a cliche

^^

I actually thought that was our best away performance of the season - didn't do a lot wrong. Apart from Maxi and Torres not scoring and Konchesky being Konchesky.

One week closer to 'arry in for Engerland. Would love to see the national side playing long ball as effectively as the Tiny Totts.

James Mitchell, Sunday, 28 November 2010 18:26 (fifteen years ago)

with chris on this one. Count the chances.

What a wonderful weekend

Porpoises Rescue Dick Van Dyke (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 28 November 2010 18:41 (fifteen years ago)

Haven't seen any of the game yet but thought Liverpool's fullbacks might have problems dealing with Lennon and Bale. Looks like Lennon's getting back to form again, he was great in midweek. How many games have Spurs come from behind to win this season?

Worried about Van der Vaart, he appears to be our only reliable penalty taker.

Matt DC, Sunday, 28 November 2010 20:19 (fifteen years ago)

bale oughta be able to take pens

rouxymuzak (nakhchivan), Sunday, 28 November 2010 20:20 (fifteen years ago)

lpool spent a lot of effort trying to double up on bale but he still got through a few times. stupid game today, but lennon improving. think we've won about twice as many points when the opposition score the first goal as when we do.

ogmor, Sunday, 28 November 2010 20:22 (fifteen years ago)

I think optajoe posted the other day that Spurs have won 13 points from games they were losing. Make that 16 now. Comeback.

Rangers have won 18 points from losing positions in the SPL. Fuckers.

[cioran] in the spl, everyone is a loser

rouxymuzak (nakhchivan), Sunday, 28 November 2010 20:41 (fifteen years ago)

bale was good again today.

Keane good peno taker, pav too tho he's missed one lately.

Defoe has missed four of five, seven of twelve. Ffs.

Lennon has been like a proper winger this past few games. Missing for 95% of the game, destroys his fullback three times and gets a goal or assist.

Hutton was good today!

Goths in Home & Away in my lifetime (darraghmac), Sunday, 28 November 2010 22:26 (fifteen years ago)

does DJ Campbell have a Hitler 'tache?????????????

wheezy f baby (a hoy hoy), Sunday, 28 November 2010 22:47 (fifteen years ago)

If you've got MOTD2 on, rewind it to the replay of Skrtel's OG, and look at the advertising board as Modric runs into the area. There's a plane flying across at the exact same speed as Modric. I found this hilarious. Yes.

The referee was perfect (Chris), Sunday, 28 November 2010 22:51 (fifteen years ago)

great post.

and that is totally a hitler tache.

OMFG at that Carroll goal. Arsenal or Utd haven't conceded a goal that stupid this season - Chelsea will not win the title.

wheezy f baby (a hoy hoy), Sunday, 28 November 2010 22:57 (fifteen years ago)

On one hand this really does look like being a very unpredictable title race - close at the top and the big guns losing / dropping an unusual amount of points. On the other hand, I'm sure we've said that at this stage of the last two seasons, only for the usual suspects to go on a sustained run of form.

Porpoises Rescue Dick Van Dyke (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 28 November 2010 23:07 (fifteen years ago)

To be honesty I know Liverpool are gonna be average this year. I feel they just need to bide time, no fan should have big expectations.

wheezy f baby (a hoy hoy), Sunday, 28 November 2010 23:18 (fifteen years ago)

i had memories of chelsea looking like they were running away with it early on before blipping a few times later, but looking at the history that doesn't seem quite true. it does seem that the top of the table is closer to the vast mid-table this year, but no one's optimistic enough to think that'll last long.

Antoine Bugleboy (Merdeyeux), Sunday, 28 November 2010 23:21 (fifteen years ago)

that second bolton goal was something alright.

Antoine Bugleboy (Merdeyeux), Sunday, 28 November 2010 23:21 (fifteen years ago)

Has there been a worse MOTD2 panellist than Deej in recent memory?

William Bloody Swygart, Sunday, 28 November 2010 23:23 (fifteen years ago)

colin murray?

Lawro's sustained laughter at the sight of some implied homosexuality was very akin to Alan Partridge in the new episodes when Sidekick Simon makes a joke he likes

tbf to the lad lawro i'd guess he got some le sauxish slurs back in the day

rouxymuzak (nakhchivan), Sunday, 28 November 2010 23:38 (fifteen years ago)

Didn't notice this when it actually happened - just seen it mentioned on another site - but... Torres on his way out?

http://www.twitvid.com/OHVVL

The referee was perfect (Chris), Sunday, 28 November 2010 23:42 (fifteen years ago)

Torres has looked better the last few games but it shouldn't be any surprise he wants to leave. Can't see him staying past the end of the season, unless Liverpool go on a massive spending spree, or unless he has a bad injury that keeps him crocked through the summer. Don't get much of a sense of team spirit looking at Liverpool either.

Matt DC, Sunday, 28 November 2010 23:46 (fifteen years ago)

Nothing wrong with the body language there, says to me "Oh look Defoe's got a penalty! I'd better get up the field for the goal kick!"

Lindsey Lohan is the new Extreme Noise Terror (onimo), Sunday, 28 November 2010 23:50 (fifteen years ago)

obv dude wants to leave, it's been a terrible move for him, and for a player of his talent to be languishing there must obviously be a whitey for him, but that is just not professional. Shocking attitude.

rappa ternt sagna (jim in glasgow), Sunday, 28 November 2010 23:55 (fifteen years ago)

I found it amusing that DJ Campbell's highlight reel on MOTD2 was composed primarily of misses.

Number None, Sunday, 28 November 2010 23:57 (fifteen years ago)

sick of people analysing every drop of snot or scratch of the ear that torres does. leave the dude alone.

I see what this is (Local Garda), Sunday, 28 November 2010 23:59 (fifteen years ago)

just sayin it's a bit odd he didn't look arsed about the pen outcome. or maybe it isn't odd and he's just mega pissed off with how he's playing. or or or.
