I should start drinking at home - Seal isn't the sort of place where everybody plies me with spirits. I really want to bring my iPod since I saw the setup Colder and not-that-cute-really Output girl had at Cargo last night. There's a couple of Plus-Tech punk songs that would go down SO well.

And using that above example, I see no reason why we can't get indie kids interested, Ste. We can start small, and I'll use me "contacts".

BARMS, Wednesday, 9 March 2005 14:05 (twenty-one years ago)

Matt I'm coming to Vitalic! He is with THE HACKER, there may be FADIN' AWAY.

I am sad about the terrible ESG rift, though. Also abt stevem stoppin' his trash-talking, the chess soon-loser.

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 14:46 (twenty-one years ago)

Vitalic virgins should probably get their cherries yoinked

Gravel, we could battle online perhaps

Sven Bastard (blueski), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 14:51 (twenty-one years ago)

Steve, I may, wear, a t-shirt, to ESG.

BARMS, Wednesday, 9 March 2005 14:56 (twenty-one years ago)

I shall combine my two favourite things in the world, ESG and CHESS by making myeslf a CHESS BOARD OUTFIT for this momentous ESG/Superpitcher occasion. Do you think Superpitcher will be impressed? He's not gay is he? I'd just die, DIE I tell you. Should I try and be a DJ Groupie? I read about them in "The Guide" magazine once, apparently the worst type of DJ groupie is the type that when you wake up in the morning, instead of going through yr wallet, they're going through your RECORDS with a NOTEPAD.

I mean, this is nothing like me, of course.

Lucretia My Reflection (Lucretia My Reflection), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:05 (twenty-one years ago)

Hey Matt, if you play Soulwax's 'NY Excuse', you may not even need to invite your sis (Beastie Boys/Biz Markie - 'Your Sister's Def' is suddenly on repeat in my head).

Starry, haha!

BARMS, Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:15 (twenty-one years ago)

You'll look like a fucking harlequin. I told you that look is so never in. xpost.

alix (alix), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Steve, I may, wear, a t-shirt, to ESG

leather vest, please

Sven Bastard (blueski), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh yeah, so you did. I thought I had thought of an original idea, have I had it before? Jesus I'm so glad I'm giving up the booze. Anyway ESG/Superpitcher/Annie is a lineup immediately downloaded from my BRANE so I'm totally going to be there.

Er, people who are going: perhaps we should invest in... tickets?

Lucretia My Reflection (Lucretia My Reflection), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:21 (twenty-one years ago)

superpitcher is pretty gay

pete b. (pete b.), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:22 (twenty-one years ago)

http://stat.discogs.com/A/6648-001.jpg

Dude wears a scarf while DJing in rammed club = either gheye or Private Pike from Dad's Army.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:24 (twenty-one years ago)

Stevem get thee to redhotpawn.com (i am, er, tiefscharz. i have yet to be challenged by any dj groupies).

I will wear eighties denim, to vitalic yoinking.

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:25 (twenty-one years ago)

i'm going to wear an animal skin to vitalic in tribute to his bonkers biography on discogs.

pete b. (pete b.), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:27 (twenty-one years ago)

He is pretty. But is he "an gay"? Or just "gay and bright"?

He wears a scarf whilst DJ-ing in rammed club = SWOON. I love him even more. Do you think he would let me dress him up in preppy clothes even more? (I kind of like Pike too!!)

Greg - is it a time based game? As I am busy right now, but if it's like e-scrabble and you can take yr turn whenever I'm up for a game.

Lucretia My Reflection (Lucretia My Reflection), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:27 (twenty-one years ago)

he is quite pretty. his music is very melodramatic. he is definitely gay.

pete b. (pete b.), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:32 (twenty-one years ago)

Results 1 - 10 of about 309 for superpitcher girlfriend. (0.07 seconds)
Results 1 - 10 of about 1,360 for superpitcher gay. (0.45 seconds)

Starry it's turn whenever! i will take you all on, at once. I will maybe lose.

how late it Vit going until?

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:33 (twenty-one years ago)

Sarah do you like Derek from Eastenders as well (OMG he is gay too DO YOU SEE?)

Matt DC (Matt DC), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:36 (twenty-one years ago)

that looks more like a pair of tights round Spitchy's neck than a scarf

Sven Bastard (blueski), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:37 (twenty-one years ago)

I can't believe it. This is so depressing. I could change my affections to Mayer but he is

a) not as good; and
b) has a lady friend already

CHIZ CHIZ.

Greg, I will challenge you later. I am too sad now.

Woaaar, Derek from Eastenders. Oh, I mean, no, sorry, I don't. I always fancy meng from the past.

It's... safer that way.

Lucretia My Reflection (Lucretia My Reflection), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:39 (twenty-one years ago)

Starry fancies the gay one. I fancy the (allegedly) straight one. Something is amiss in the world!

The Lex (The Lex), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:43 (twenty-one years ago)

We'd better watch out before this goes all Will and Grace and my hair starts getting even larger than usual.

Lucretia My Reflection (Lucretia My Reflection), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:51 (twenty-one years ago)

leather vest, please

Done.

Starry can go in my place to tonight's Bree Van Der Kamp party.

BARMS, Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:54 (twenty-one years ago)

Holy crap, Ria's TOTALLY GOT GRACE HAIR

BARMS, Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:55 (twenty-one years ago)

i 'laughed' at Will & Grace twice this morning

Sven Bastard (blueski), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 15:59 (twenty-one years ago)

see the problem with this thread is that if you only read it every now and again it makes NO SENSE AT ALL, esp as i have it set to last 50 posts only...

would anyone like to precis the relevant information (i am away this weekend, so no sealclubbing)?

CarsmileSteve (CarsmileSteve), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 16:43 (twenty-one years ago)

i am going to go to seal. i have only been to seal...once! after this weekend, i will be able to say, "i have been to seal twice"

charltonlido (gareth), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 16:54 (twenty-one years ago)

it's all young people's music mr carsmile, except ESG perhaps who some of us are planning to go see on April 30 EXCEPT I HAVE JUST REMEMBERED IN WILL BE IN AMERICA THEN AHAHAHAHAHAHA OH NO

Sven Bastard (blueski), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 16:57 (twenty-one years ago)

i need a Filofax

Sven Bastard (blueski), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 16:57 (twenty-one years ago)

I was gonna say til I suddenly thought you were back on the 29th. Nevermind, I'll take care of your lady for you while you're away.

BARMS, Wednesday, 9 March 2005 16:59 (twenty-one years ago)

You're missing the leather vest, tho', y' bibble. Well Hammer.

BARMS, Wednesday, 9 March 2005 17:00 (twenty-one years ago)

Will & Grace is brilliant! What do you mean by 'Ria has Grace hair' though Barima? Grace's hair is a) curly and b) terrible!

The Lex (The Lex), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 17:05 (twenty-one years ago)

this is no fair. there had better be something equivalent on in NYC that same night.

Sven Bastard (blueski), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 17:07 (twenty-one years ago)

I have bad memorex, so solly, Lex.

BARMS, Wednesday, 9 March 2005 17:09 (twenty-one years ago)

Maybe we can play chess that night?

alix (alix), Wednesday, 9 March 2005 17:12 (twenty-one years ago)

Wow! Optimo at Ourdisco on the 18th? I think I've just found the perfect way to dance away my birthday. Rad!

Senior Executive/CEO (nordicskilla), Thursday, 10 March 2005 17:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Sven Bastard (blueski), Thursday, 10 March 2005 17:30 (twenty-one years ago)

rex the dog is playing fabric on april 1...april fool's?

geeta (geeta), Friday, 11 March 2005 10:05 (twenty-one years ago)

I can't club seals tonight because I AM babysitting after all (oooh, album title).

BARMS, Friday, 11 March 2005 11:06 (twenty-one years ago)

Rex the Dog, ooooh.

So who is DEFINITELY going to Tiefschwarz tomorrow? And where can I acquire tickets in the event that I stop being indecisive about it?

The Lex (The Lex), Friday, 11 March 2005 11:17 (twenty-one years ago)

ok looks like im going to club seal i think. who else would like to come with me?

i want to do a big night, next saturday, and then most of the weekends in april, i think

charltonlido (gareth), Friday, 11 March 2005 12:29 (twenty-one years ago)

What's happening on Saturday 19th? I'm up for the 18th, but I'm trying to save and am only going all out next w/e to celebrate my impending further slide to 25.

BARMS, Friday, 11 March 2005 12:38 (twenty-one years ago)

This thread is rapidly spiralling out of control. Saturday is Richard X, erm... somewhere, according to Marianna. But I think I would prefer Optimo on Friday. Although I am supposed to be going to see Spurs Man City on the 19th so that could be an expensive weekend. ARGH WHY DOES THIS CITY HAVE TO BE SO FUCKING GOOD?!

Tiefschwarz is unlikely at this point in time, I think. There's just too much going on and something's got to give from a financial point of view.

Teh Streets were good last night, though.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Friday, 11 March 2005 12:45 (twenty-one years ago)

MIA is playing at Fabric tonight btw but I don't think I'd bother going through the whole queueing and paying thing just for her set again, great as it was last week.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Friday, 11 March 2005 12:47 (twenty-one years ago)

also everyone else at Fabric tonight is utter rub.

The Lex (The Lex), Friday, 11 March 2005 12:49 (twenty-one years ago)

Well yes, that too.

We sat next to Kano in the (rub) VIP bar in the Brixton Academy last night. He's a right midget... I could beat him up!
