So the characters have their own Twitter feeds, right? Last night around 3 AM Jeff posts "Sleepy" and Britta replies back "Me too." So they are totally sleeping together.

I follow all the actors on twitter, but not their characters. That's one step beyond.

Same here, and while I don't want to be that guy, surely Jeff tweeting at 3AM and then Britta responding means that they're not sleeping together.

I knew I was crossing a line as I was typing that.

Or, they ARE sleeping together but are creating a Twitter facade to make people think they AREN'T...

Come on, they're sleeping together. Why else would the show have made a point of Britta knowing what underwear Jeff 'usually' wears on a date?

The character Twitters are kind of like a rudimentary ARG, foreshadowing plot points and filling in details. And with the monkey's Twitter account it's pretty clearly just Dan Harmon or one of the other writers just posting random shit:

i started watching this like 5 minutes into it and i could not make heads nor tails of what was going on

Interesting to find out that Dan Harmon doesn't actually have a writer's credit since the second episode of the first season, and that there are SO MANY writers on this show. That's why the episodes are so different from week to week. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Community_episodes

tbh, I figured while I was watching tonight's episode that Harmon had gone crazy one night and hammered this script out in 20 minutes in a fit of delusional brilliance.

this was kind of amazing, tbh

except the abed/troy bit at the end (it's mainstream, shut it down) was pretty wince-y. the meta jokes are funny but a little too close to the wind sometimes.

also: yeah, alison brie's physical acting was pretty phenomenal. actually, pretty much everyone was a little more cartoonish in this one, now that i think about it.

totally awesome.

Having finished a stint at community college just about a year ago, and taking more than half of my classes at night, I can back up the authenticity of the inherent creepiness of a campus after dark. The freaks come out.

I thought it was more of a parody of different movie chase scenes. Hitchcock came to mind, as well as The Fugitive Harrison Ford version.
