Ooh, tough call! I like both of them a lot. But I have seen the trailer for Burke & Hare, and I have seen How To Lose Friends And Alienate People so - despite Hot Fuzz and Shaun being great - Tim Canterbury beats Tim Bisley for being in less crap and for not doing terrible accents in stuff.
Also Martin Freeman's face makes me laugh more.
I'm voting before I read that mod stuff, because it might put me off.

"These days, kids avoid stuff because it's old, but why?" he asks. "When I speak to people about music and they say, 'I don't know about that; it was a bit before my time", it really angers me.

Um, why the Pegg hate? I can't think of anything he's done that actually offensive, even if some of his work's a little iffy. Certainly nothing to put him in the "twat" column. Or maybe I'm forgetting something...

It's not so bad here, but in Hollywood ? Jesus Christ. Why don't they just admit it? No one cares if they're gay or not. I certainly don't.In this so-called liberal industry, no one has the guts to come out because of "the box office", but someone has to be the first in the firing line."

Stoner/student absence of cheap laffs amongst other things. He's starting to look like Bertrand fucking Russell tbh since I read Martin Freeman's interview.

I heartily dislike most expressions of inclusivity or chuminess in comedians/actors/whatever which is as much about my own misanthropy as anything, I confess. But fuck it, it's my poll, start your own "I Am On Twatbag Pegg's Dick" poll if you wanna.

I was going on their work, btw, if I didn't make that clear. I don't think I know anything about Pegg except that his wife's from East Kilbride but somehow he still thinks his terrible Scottish accent is passable.

NV, It's interesting, cos you're clearly not the only one who dislikes chumminess and inclusiveness in an actor or comedian, since lots of people seem to agree with you ITT. If that's the ONLY thing going for a comedian then it's a problem, and taken to extremes it's really fucking annoying (cf Corden) but surely there's more going on here than JUST that. Pegg always seems to play likeable characters unless he's geeking out in Dr Who, or maybe he just MAKES them likeable? I dunno. Freeman's a blank canvas that either works (Sherlock) or just acts as a charisma vacuum (everything else). I can guarantee right now he's gonna fuck up The Hobbit.

Freeman was just about passable as B.S. Johnson in the radio 3 adaptation of The Unfortunates. This is higher praise than it might seem as I am VERY precious about that book.
Not actually bothered enough by either actor to cast a vote, however.
