aw we just rolled into LA a couple of hours ago!! :(

it's almost midnight. i did dishes, picked up crap around the house, listened to punk rock & tonetta, did some homework while drinking profoundly powerful beers until i could not do that anymore. considering going out to see transvestite misfits cover band, but i dunno. it's getting late and i still have to do laundry, prepare for tomorrow's madness...

xp well we're only in town for a v short time and we are busy busy busy, but that sounds like it was fun!

It consisted of karaoke with get bent, donna rouge, tremendoid and Jeff T and many others, including Vik. And you wish you were us.

this rocked. thanks for coming out, everyone! my vocal cords are shot to hell for all time.

made a mix for this girl i met and made haphazard plans for the rally to restore sanity/fear tomorrow

ate dinner with my old friend and his parents, talked about the crucifixion of jesus & lol'd at mark (not a conversation i thought i'd be having tonight)

fell asleep in the car on the drive back from virginia

friday night

Movie with mah sweetheart, probably followed by a drink or two.

probably just gonna get some snacks at the store & hangout :-/

came home, made pizza with some mushroom and espinaca. worked on constructing a crossword puzzle. lady friend came home and we split two bombers of beer (dogfish head theobroma and north coast la merle) and watched a bunch of spanish-language pop videos (david bisbal, juanes, calle 13, cafe tacuba, aterciopelados, kinky, javiera mena, mana, etc.) and then watched "30 rock" and then she fell asleep and i watched a little of jimmy fallon and now i'm listening to dismemberment plan.

oh and we smoked weed.

went to pitfire pizza, got their seasonal pumpkin pizza which was gooooood, watched some 30 rock and SNL, gonna go read something then bed

i almost got the pumpkin pizza last time i ordered from pitfire -- got the lamb merguez sausage pizza, which was a+++++++.

what is this pitfire bizness?

it's a mini-chain in los angeles. "artisanal" stuff.

Drove all by myself to SF, for a Marc Maron standup gig at the Punchline. Exciting! (Don't drive much by myself in Sf...was always a bit nervous, speshly at night. I'm a baby I know.)

i think i've hit a tipping point: in one car trip i picked up snax + stuff at shaw's, walgreens, 7-eleven, and dunkin donuts tonight. i think that's my sign to stop

come to think of it, the tipping point where this bad eating became absurd was probably years ago, but i think i can change. health is good
