I've read some speculation that NBC is going to open up an hour of sitcoms on another night, potentially Tuesdays. P&R and 30 Rock will probably move, and something will get stuck into the 8:30 slot on Thursdays where 30 Rock currently is.

I actually found genuine laughs in this week's episode of Outsourced

I was too lazy to change the channel after Community, so I watched The Office and Outsourced too. re: Outsourced, it's clearly not as dire now as the pilot was, but I still found it being like the dumbed down version of other single camera sitcoms. "Is Parks & Recreation too thinky for you? Well here's some obvious cultural stereotype humor you might get."

I do think that one overweight guy who does double duty in eSurance commercials is pretty funny, though. I wish he could've found work in a good show.

I was surprised to discover (via Netflix) that Outsourced was spun off from a movie.

I heard the movie was pretty okay. I'm not going to much trouble to find out, though.

The only reason why I gave the show another chance was because former coworkers of mine who emigrated to the US from India were big fans of the movie and totally rooting for the series.

ha ha we randomly rewatched "Pikitis" yesterday, love chris pratt and his jaunty way of holding a coffee cup. louis ck's character was also great, i wish he could've stayed longer, but no he had to go off and make a groundbreaking show of his own.

better than on the first watch but still doesnt hold a candle to s2

that said i love Adam Scott and Rob Lowe so i'm feeling like this is the year i start to genuinely like this show

I'm glad they wasted no time tormenting Jerry again.

Also, I forgot Tom was dating that really hot bartender girl.

Rob Lowe's character is so delightfully weird.

Lowe is a great comedic performer imo; really have no idea why he hasn't become a regular SNL host or anything like that

this was a setup ep, mostly a waste but still okay

some good lolz. interesting to see what they do with Rob Lowe, as he's pretty one-note (though genuinely likeable and I felt bad when I said he had his first bad date).

Tom's gf is Natalie Morales and they'd better keep her around because <3 <3 <3

So glad this is back. Can never get enough Swanson. I think he is my favorite character on tv right now.
