Starting to look into moving. This might actually happen! Sometime early next year, anyway, depending on whether I can find someone to sublet my current apt to. Even paying a toll to commute every day I'd be saving hundreds of bucks a month and living someplace that doesn't make me want to gnaw my own face off.

There's a nice dive bar (Bob & Barbara's) at 15th & South--with live jazz on the weekends.

Oh, I think I was at that bar once waiting to play a show (maybe at the TLA upstairs or somewhere else on South). There was this really really old guy playing the organ but it was still kind of good if creaky.

I still haven't been there but keep meaning to check out their thurs. Night drag show

Okay, so not only does Cookie Confidential, the new cookie shop on 5th right above South, have AMAZING cookies (srsly could not stop buying the vegan key lime ones), but the lady who runs it (Melissa from Tattooed Mom) has decided to purchase several of Konstantin Grcic's "Chair One"s to use as chairs; this made me unimaginably giddy. Seriously you guys have to check this place out.
