i loved this and i loved that it looked like snl

i mean

if you have a problem with that, considering that its a live ep, and its a show based on snl, i mean, i honestly dont understand how your brain works at all

TS jane krakowski's rendition of the theme song vs. cheyenne jackson's

i love jane's voice, but cheyenne's had "let's talk about sushi" which made me think pleasant thoughts about having some sushi.

And a shout out to Glendale (home of Telecom World Headquarters) too!

Stockhausen's Helicopter Quartet (Elvis Telecom), Saturday, 16 October 2010 23:46 (fifteen years ago)

They're not making this a regular thing, are they? Man, I just don't see eye-to-eye with all the people who loved it. The best things about the show IMO are the tight writing and dry delivery.

EveningStar (Sund4r), Monday, 18 October 2010 22:40 (fifteen years ago)

no of course they're not, it was a fun one-off

you guys!!

Philip Nunez, Monday, 18 October 2010 23:22 (fifteen years ago)

How did this show manage to rebound so well this season? It's back to S1/S2 levels of awesome now.

Johnny Fever, Friday, 22 October 2010 00:38 (fifteen years ago)

it was just as awesome last season, but you're a communityhead so i'll cut you some slack

J0rdan S., Friday, 22 October 2010 00:40 (fifteen years ago)

loved tonight's episode! the poster montage killed me

Nhex, Friday, 22 October 2010 05:56 (fifteen years ago)

The Rachel Maddow haircut line got huge lols at my house. Also loved Kenneth getting all tough for like 5 seconds.

30 Rock was good last night. Community sucked for the third week in a row.

get off my lawn (rockapads), Friday, 22 October 2010 16:05 (fifteen years ago)

You are crazy if you think the KFC Space episode sucked and you should just probably quit watching TV now.

"I am a fairly respected poster." (jon /via/ chi 2.0), Friday, 22 October 2010 16:06 (fifteen years ago)

it wanted too badly to be paintball episode

get off my lawn (rockapads), Friday, 22 October 2010 16:09 (fifteen years ago)

was better than last night's or the week preceding it, though.

get off my lawn (rockapads), Friday, 22 October 2010 16:09 (fifteen years ago)

So there was a new episode this week? I can't find a torrent for it ;_;

O holy ruler of ILF (a hoy hoy), Friday, 22 October 2010 17:27 (fifteen years ago)

it's disheartening to see pete get more screentime in those weird car commercials than in the show proper.

Philip Nunez, Friday, 22 October 2010 19:36 (fifteen years ago)

pretty sure he's getting paid extra for those commercials, ergo more power to him

O'Donnell and the Brain (HI DERE), Friday, 22 October 2010 19:37 (fifteen years ago)

This one was hella funny! Loved Tracy's punchlines!

Telephoneface (Adam Bruneau), Friday, 22 October 2010 19:49 (fifteen years ago)

OMG ROFL @ Tracy's solution and "Make way! I'm Reaganing!"

Telephoneface (Adam Bruneau), Friday, 22 October 2010 19:54 (fifteen years ago)

re: getting paid for commercials, do you mean more power to pete the character or scott adsit?

Philip Nunez, Friday, 22 October 2010 20:20 (fifteen years ago)

more power to Scott Adsit, since Pete the character is imaginary

O'Donnell and the Brain (HI DERE), Friday, 22 October 2010 20:22 (fifteen years ago)

True, but he seems to have gotten more screen time in this season's five episodes than in all of last season.

Son of Sisyphus of Reaganing (Tarfumes The Escape Goat), Friday, 22 October 2010 21:01 (fifteen years ago)

i dunno he got a lot of screen time last season

avoyoungdro's number (k3vin k.), Friday, 22 October 2010 21:24 (fifteen years ago)

this ep was great btw

avoyoungdro's number (k3vin k.), Friday, 22 October 2010 21:24 (fifteen years ago)

Yeah, I'd actually put it among the best ever.

I seem to remember wide swaths of last season where Pete and the writers were completely absent for something like 4-5 episodes in a row. But I haven't re-watched it (yet).

Son of Sisyphus of Reaganing (Tarfumes The Escape Goat), Friday, 22 October 2010 21:28 (fifteen years ago)

Isn't Adsit one of the head writers on the show? Maybe his absence is by choice?

Philip Nunez, Friday, 22 October 2010 21:54 (fifteen years ago)

Adsit is not a writer for the show at all, let alone head writer.
