A new 30 Rock thread because I can't find the old one

I'll be out so I'll miss it, though I'm recording it. Not that I'm fussed really anyway, because I'm not sure 30 Rock is the type of show that benefits from this sort of thing. Watching the different jokes could be cool though.

Just finished watching this and I have no idea what you guys are talking about. As my boyfriend said, "I wish I could unsee that." Didn't laugh once. And jesus, a studio audience? The whole thing felt so awkward.

I think you and your boyfriend need to check your funny receptors. That episode was hilarious.

I don't mean that to be harsh, but of course it was going to be a little awkward - thats live television for you. Dr. Spaceman, Hamm, and Damon all had me rolling.

Liked it because I always liked 30 Rock, but come on, hard to make the claim this was as good as a real episode.

I know Carol was a regular character! I've seen him in many episodes! It just never occurred to me that the actor playing him was actually Matt Damon.

Anything that adds lyrics to an instrumental theme song wins me over instantly! LOVED Jon Hamm too.

This whole episode killed me, but the audience applauding every scene was a bit distracting.

this was brilliant!

yeah, these were totally awesome, and anyone who didn't at least find some humor in them is stupid.

yeah this was lots of fun. at first i was kinda disappointed that it was clearly being shot on the SNL set and kinda just looked like a SNL sketch but then i was like oh why would that bother me anyway, and enjoyed how they did a lot of gags to take advantage of the format. did video of the live performance they did during the writer's strike a few years ago ever end up online or on a DVD or anything? I guess that was probably the genesis of all this.

Spaceman was amazing in the west coast version. also, there is a pamphlet on his table that says "YOU DO THE METH!" which kills me.

you do the meth! came from when jenna was offered crystal meth to lose her 'mystic pizza' weight.

i enjoyed this although as a britisher i don't get the snl stigma.

can't wait to watch these tonight
