this wz inevitable, but I think millions of fans would've felt jipped if they couldn't have seen House's and Cuddy's epic fail for themselves.

was Libby/Sam ever properly introduced or did she just show up this season?

dr. girlfriend was introduced last season and fought with house for wilson's affections until there was some detente i forget the reason why though.

Wilson ended up kicking House out of his, er, residence iirc...not over any warfare, most of which I think Wilson wz unaware of, but just bcz Wilson wanted to take it to "the next level" or whatever...

I haven't watched too muchof this new season, but I think Sam is my favortire character right now...

I just hate that every episode they are checking someones house for toxins. house should check cuddys box for toxins.

I just wish they were a little more consistent with House's "everyone lies" bit. I mean, the last episode the girl was flat out lying about the battered women's group she never went to. House never even questioned that or her other lies. Of course, maybe thats the point, he questions the truth-tellers but has a blind spot for sociopaths/liars?

I don't know that she was sociopathic so much as flat out crazy.

Yeah, my second sentence was kind of second guessing myself in relation to the showat large. I just remember watching that episode and immediately wondering why House was taking her statements at face value, considering the previous ep's reiteration of the "EVERYONE LIES".

sometimes they do some work to coordinate e.g. mistakes in how the team handles the case with whatever personal-professional-life plot is running alongside it. sometimes they don't.

This increased emphasis on Chase being RROWR HOTT LADYKILLER is really cracking me up.

I feel like they dress Cuddy really well, but every other woman on this show gets these clothes you would never really see anyone wear, like last episode's new girl with the leggy Paula Poundstone look.

Cameron was wearing vests all the time, too, which always rang false in 2004.

amber tamblyn (the new girl) is more impressive if you saw her in her old weird-cop-show 'the unusuals'. she's, like, acting!

ok, but the other two relationships in the episode (patient of the week and other patient of the week, and chase and chick we've never seen before in the show) felt totally bogus on every level

tbg I'm sick and was half sleeping through the whole thing. I mainly just tuned in when the cute kid was on screen.

i've only now caught up on the first four or so episodes -- and the ep where boy gave sister part of his lung was touching ... but otherwise this is my feeling about this season so far. does it get better. b/c i'm really close to giving up.

I don't think its that awful yet. They've certainly reached a plateau irt the House/Cuddy relationship and I think they're going to paint themselves into a corner very soon, if they haven't already. I really liked this week's episode, particularly with how they handled Amber Tamblyn's character (until the very end, which I thought was a bit of a cop out). It was kind of interesting to see someone not bullied down by House by the end of the episode (again, until that stupid last scene).

What in the heck is with this trend lately that all TV shows have to start out with funny and/or abrasive characters and said abrasive character has to devolve, soften up and fall in love? It happened with Chuck, it happened with House M.D., It happened with Psych and I believe it happened with Scrubs.

I think some of these writers need to go back and watch those terrible episodes of Night Court where Phil the Bum dies and realize that softening up a character that originally had an acrid-type personality isn't a great idea. I still have nightmares about Kind Dan.

Considering what he did to Amber Tamblyn's character (can't even be bothered to remember her name), House is still quite clearly an irredeemable asshole. He just happens to be an asshole in love.
