I watched the show for the first time last night, but with the sound off (it was on at a restaurant). There was no plot to distract from the Hugh Laurie gazing, and it seemed like the hospital drama equivalent of the Batman show--a bit of surrealist theater.

this is really not the kind of show worth jumping into now without at least having seen a few episodes from the first 2 seasons. not that it'd be as confusing as Lost or anything, but they kinda had to ramp up to what's going on now. and last night's episode was pretty stupid, I still don't feel like they adequately explained House's self-electrocution.

The only K.Penn role I have seen where he isn't good at medicine = on Angel

And even that's questionable -- he is using his giant exposed pulsating brain to make Cordelia sick, which is just evil medicine

Wasn't he self-electrocuting because the guy he saw do it described it as better than drugs? And we know House digs drugs. Plus, he wanted to test whether there's an afterworld.

Hopefully the new conniving female doctor is let go soon

Also every time Cameron pops up with that horrible blonde dyejob I'm glad she's barely in the recent episodes.

Last night's ep made me cryyyyyy but then again I am sadsack grande. He put his hand on the dog's head and then he died! He loved his dog!

I don't get why they're making black kid Mormo except Mormons being in the news, or it's exotic, or something. He is handsome man tho! Fake-ass Steve Carrell plastic surgeon needs to go. And Ms. Sneakfiend stokes my h8. The end.

I am not interested in any of the newbies other than Unbelievably Old Guy, and that's mostly because I like kind old dudes. But then, I was never that interested in any of the original team, apart from Foreman. But Foreman was only interesting when he was not being incredibly angry which he was incredibly angry all of season 3, so.

Season three was largely just painful to lukewarm, except the episode with that old guy patient who'd done some Tuskeegee shit on babies back in the day.

I'm glad they didn't adequately explain House's electrocution. I think he is seriously depressed even though he never admits it. Good use of subtext. Number 13 (model-looking one) got to stay even though the guy died. I think House knew he wouldn't swallow the pills and but didn't care because the guy wanted to die. Number 13 is now prepared to be on his team because she had a patient die. Cameron couldn't handle it.
Cameron got fired because he went against the odds (normal procedure) to save his patient.

I was pretty sure Foreman was fired because he was told not to do something by his boss, and he went ahead and did it anyway, which is what House would have done, and he got fired because you can't have loose cannons like that around, except that Cuddy would totally have let him away with it, so now he should just come back and work for House again.

Yeah, and he's too handsome to go on.

Okay so House calls Mormo "hypocrite" after saying like he believed in evolution er summat. SO I looked this up in Mormon Doctrine (first ed w/all the crazily crazy racist shit) (important book on "official church views" written in l8 1950s), and Joseph Smith said something like "evolution can't exist because man was created in god's image, will become a god of his own someday, blah blah blah. Also, all beings, such as gorillas and tadpoles will attain their ultimate perfection in the etrnaul sphere." (Uh...) And THEN it's followed by McConkie (author) saying, "Since science and our religion are both ultimate truths, science cannot conflict with religion." (UH...)

I'm starting to feel really bitter about this show, based on my fading interest in the new episodes, my budding interest in watching Reaper instead, and my girl's insistence on watching House during that timeslot.

I think he'll show up again. Bitch fighjt between him and the insufferable plastic surgeon was pretty great, & also the plastic surgeon moppage. Hoho. If they don't get rid of that insufferable conniving whore I will go mad. I don't think I've ever yelled "YOU CONNIVING WHORE!" at the TV so many times as I did last night in one hour.

For three weeks in a row now, I have felt lukewarm about tuning in to House instead of something else, and then have not been able to turn it off.

She got old real quick. On the other hand, I hope the one who killed the dog is a permanent addition to the cast. Hot as hell.

I think conniving whore (Anne Dudek) is hotter than dog killer (Olivia Wilde), possibly because she's the only member of the new team that isn't insufferably boring.

She has committed far more insufferable crimes than any of the others (seconded by plastic surgeon douche (I think the 3 eps of Nip/Tuck I saw made me hate plastic surgeons for life)). And she's not really hot at all. Thirteen has a cute cheek scar & crazy impossible eyelids.

the relationship between House and Wilson is brilliant. They are the most believable best friends I've seen on telly in years. I love it.

I saw one of the older episodes again and House was diffrent back then. Less witty and more serious. And maybe more caring (but last nights episode proved differently).

Yeah over the years he's gotten a bit wackier and a lot harder to believe in. Not that I'm not still watching or anything.

I am hoping this season will calm down now that House's reality show has ended.
