2.2 with the transit directions has made this thing like 12x more useful for me than it already was.

Perhaps if I had an app from popular online website Friendster.

the map thing is BALLZ.

But I keep wondering how well the fucker will work in NYC. My experience with my 3G iPhone there has been terrible.

You just need to install the 2.2 update. iTunes should bug you about it next time you sync.

mine didnt bug me. i had to click check for update

she should look better if she's gonna be a bitch like that (sunny successor), Saturday, 22 November 2008 03:19 (seventeen years ago)

I got bugged via txt msg about it, but I don't think iTunes will bug you about it until November 22nd, as it says on the iPhone summary screen upon plugging it in. (this is how it is on iTunes on Windows XP at least.)

Melodis Dialer is AWESOME.

It's a voice dialer and by far the best I've used. I can talk pretty fast, the recognition is nearly instant, and it has been 99% accurate for me.

schwantz, Wednesday, 3 December 2008 21:16 (seventeen years ago)

its better than "say who" which used the network to search your phonebook for some reason

there's a new Public Radio app that has streams for over a hundred Public Radio streams. only problem is that it wont play when phone goes to sleep/locked. i had two other NPR apps (to specific stations) that had this same problem but both fixed it in a recent update, so hopefully this one will too.

i dont know if we discussed this yet but i figured out why you get "youtube not available" when you click on youtube links on ILX

instead of a youtube window you see a youtube url, but the way ilx code works it doesnt really take you to the url, it takes you to a long-ass url like this: http://www.youtube.com/swf/l.swf?swf=http%3A//s.ytimg.com/yt/swf/cps-vfl68942.swf&video_id=N0gb9v4LI4o&rel=1&showsearch=1&eurl=http%3A//www.ilxor.com/ILX/ThreadSelectedControllerServlet%3Fboardid%3D63%26threadid%3D1202&iurl=http%3A//i3.ytimg.com/vi/N0gb9v4LI4o/hqdefault.jpg&sk=jYIlr6KmmQWXxhsWfFL_UBitGpvL6xbxC&use_get_video_info=1&load_modules=1&hl=en
