i guess it's only kept the old version because the new one had a slightly different name (ie has 1.0.9 on the end) so didn't overwrite. that'd explain where 1.0.8 went, i guess.

As announced on Tuesday, the iPhone 2.1 firmware is out now, downloadable via iTunes.

I usually manage music manually but
wouldn't it be nice if when choosing to sync certain playlists you could see how many items a playlist has in the synce playlists window - much like you can in the remote.app UI
I have LOADS of itunes playlists from previous libraries whose MP3s are long since gone and so are empty
