a very trivial gripe about iTunes 10: it no longer shows the artwork for albums of less than five songs in the "album by artist" column on the right of the main list. Yeah, it still shows in the in the "now playing" square in the bottom right (in the "source" column), but I liked seeing all the art in that other column too. Also it's shrunk the size of the art in the "album by artist" column too.

on corporate campuses you already can use Office Communicator to track a friend list for office apps and it inserts the proper links to message or email them.

if you click and hold on the artwork column title you have an option to change the size. i win

to get rid of the itunes store arrows in your lib:
defaults write com.apple.iTunes show-store-arrow-links -bool FALSE

to get horizontal min/max/close buttons:
defaults write com.apple.iTunes full-window -boolean YES

when you hover over the album artwork window when an album is playing you get itunes controls - is that new?

it's the window that pops out when you click the artwork in the main itunes app

i got a magic trackpad.

i wish i had waited and got that instead of a magic mouse - it came out like 3 days after i couldnt bring it back any more - not like i knew it was coming but argh

i have a magic mouse at work and i really like it (also hooked up to an iMac), and i was thinking of buying another one for home to replace my old and buggy mighty mouse (the trackball would always get clogged up)

decided to go with the trackpad instead and i'm really liking it. something very satisfying about not having to drag the a mouse around the desk all the time. i do a lot of document editing and it's been working great.

it also looks damn cool!

habit would say you keep the trackpad on your right like a mouse but i'm liking it front and center, like a laptop, but above my keyboard

ya i'm just so used to trackpad from my laptop (i hook my laptop up to a keyboard + mouse + monitor at home) that at first i was really craving it. now i'm not sure.

apple keybs (i have the wireless one) have gotten so good lately too. stoked that my new MBP (coming soon!) will have the new styley

wireless keybs hasn't been updated at all right? i have one but i dont use it.

(need the USB ports on the wired keybs)

The newest wired one is pretty much like the wireless one, I have both because uh, I spend my day at a desktop and use the bluetooth one with my iPad/PS3

dragging mice around? I've been using a trackball for years and years and years. You know how even with a big trackpad you sometimes get to the edge and it's annoying? That doesn't happen with a trackball.
