I can't believe apple announced the ps4 today!!!!!

i'm kind of surprised sony doesn't come out with an integrated bravia/ps3, but they do have vaio TVs. what are they thinking?

The new AppleTV looks like a potential pickup for me - well, at least for my parents, where there's no PS3 or 360 and it'd be super nice to have a better-than-Roku alternative w/WiFi for Netflix streaming to the basement TV. Also, assuming I could network share their photos from Windows, a nice TV photo browser.

So I'm assuming the Apple TV can replace my airport express for Airtunes music? Would love to move the express (which I'm only using for Airtunes) to the bedroom.

um, you can stream practically anything onto a PS3 using TVersity, Orb or PS3 Media Server

yeah but then you have to make sure your computer is on. YOU GOT TO KEEP IT SEPARATED.

to be fair the old logo was pretty damn cheezy

does look better pinned to the task bar than the old one

pleased that v10 finally looks a bit more like the system preferences graphite appearance, but would rather it actually payed attention to the system preference per the HIG. zoom buttons in a column rather than a row? wtf? store arrows have moved from being right aligned to being adjacent to the text, so they are in a different l-r position on every track, which is el retardo.

also the icon looks better in the dock because it's smaller, but it still looks like something steve ballmer approved

a very trivial gripe about iTunes 10: it no longer shows the artwork for albums of less than five songs in the "album by artist" column on the right of the main list. Yeah, it still shows in the in the "now playing" square in the bottom right (in the "source" column), but I liked seeing all the art in that other column too. Also it's shrunk the size of the art in the "album by artist" column too.
