banaka, does a collective entity have sexual desire at all?

sharkless dick stick (Abbbottt), Friday, 27 August 2010 20:48 (fifteen years ago)

we abhor sex

rage for the machine (banaka), Friday, 27 August 2010 20:50 (fifteen years ago)

Banaka, do you feel kinship with Tommy Wiseau?

Jaw dropping, thong dropping monster (kingfish), Friday, 27 August 2010 20:52 (fifteen years ago)

do not mention that name around us

rage for the machine (banaka), Friday, 27 August 2010 20:53 (fifteen years ago)

omg the Portuguese Man o' War is awesome. I thought it was just some kind of jellyfish.

What do you have against sex, Banaka? Surely a collective entity like you should be all over the expression of free-floating internal desire.

Antoine Bugleboy (Merdeyeux), Monday, 30 August 2010 16:20 (fifteen years ago)

hey guys. just letting ya know i've renounced my beliefs since my breakdown the other night (i started drinking again.)

i was having a hard time after a breakup and a mugging (by an old college friend no less) several months ago.

one day several months ago i answered a "help wanted ad" for a "political advocacy group". after several days spent questioning my political and spiritual beliefs it became apparent that this was not a normal job interview, but recruitment into some kind of cult.

i still don't know the group's name, or if they even have one (i had personal contact with only 3 members). the intense, highly unorthodox interview process went on for almost a week. eventually the group's propaganda started to make "sense" and everything "clicked". i'd never really been very political before this, but suddenly a great sense of urgency had filled my being. i felt an intense desire to take my new understanding and inflict it on others. i have to admit, the thrill of militancy is quite intoxicating.

i was asked by my handler to spread propaganda over the internet to spread the group's message, and i was only glad to take up the task.

afterward i only had sporadic contact with the group until last week there was a message instructing me to stop, with no further elaboration. i was puzzled, and considered following the order, as a good collectivist agent should. but ignored them. the feeling of superiority i was feeling was too much to give up. i hadn't felt this alive in months. but i was also hurting inside. the Code said for us to shun needless pleasure, to shun distractions. but i couldn't do it. suppressing one's emotions is hard, hard work. i started drinking again sunday night. i lost control of myself and all my feelings poured out. i won't drink anymore, but i'm glad i did that night.

i still don't know why they asked me to stop. i have not heard from them since, and frankly i don't want to. i want to be myself again.

banaka is a childhood nickname! i've had a lifelong battle with halitosis, and my sister would always put her fingers in a cross (as if to ward off evil) and yell "binaca! binaca!" at me.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but have you ever been diagnosed with a mental illness? This sounds less like an actual occurrence and more like the result of a psychotic episode.

you know what's truly boring? trying to adhere to someone else's belief system and not think for yourself. not only is it boring, it is soul crushing.

i am who i am, take me or leave me. i am starting fresh and i haven't felt this good since i was younger.

let's start fresh (banaka), Wednesday, 1 September 2010 03:45 (fifteen years ago)

I'm Doug, and I may not be the brightest tool in the shed, but I had sex with my girlfriend for 2 hours once.

Starting right out making yourself the subject is poor form, cults, muggings, breakdowns and weird job interviews notwithstanding. What else you got to offer?

Aimless, Wednesday, 1 September 2010 04:44 (fifteen years ago)

i only have myself to offer.

let's start fresh (banaka), Wednesday, 1 September 2010 04:52 (fifteen years ago)

Allow me to revolve around you a while to get into the proper mood.

two weeks pass...

Attention ILX:

The mouthpiece called banaka has been retired. The unit was compromised by prior defects which were appallingly ignored by our candidate selection process. We have since eliminated this unit and replaced it with a better one. We have also improved our recruiting protocols, and eliminated the units involved in allowing this mistake.

We will be utilizing the unit's former screen name for reasons of "brand-name" recognition. However, rest assured that this new mouthpiece is 99.9876% improved over the former unit. We will adhere to our stated goals and not stray from the hardline.

The Reverend, Friday, 17 September 2010 09:06 (fifteen years ago)

Troll with an amusing schtick drops schtick, realises that they are actually kinda boring and nondescript without it, picks up schtick again. Hilarity results.

Karen D. Tregaskin, Friday, 17 September 2010 09:09 (fifteen years ago)

Hilarity will not be the result when we obtain power.

banaka, Friday, 17 September 2010 09:17 (fifteen years ago)

lol

illiterate mods are killing ilx (darraghmac), Friday, 17 September 2010 09:40 (fifteen years ago)

banaka you're aware that your narrative reads as follows:

a. dude in crisis is recruited by a cult-like org & told to disseminate propaganda via the internet
b. dude registers to ilx, follows orders
c. dude has crisis, renounces schtick
d. cult-like org obtains dude's login & password - this is after he's lost interest in cult-like org -- and begins posting under dude's screenname, sounding remarkably like dude sounded when he was doing his "job"

it's an ok story I just want to keep you straight on it
