i got some great shoes while in america. the ones i'm wearing now? retro-tastic kangaroos in pink and lime green.

they are so bright that the evil people scanning my bags at the airport wanted to look at them NOT because they were afraid i was a terrorist, but because they liked them so much!

three months pass...

Revive. London sales were good to me. Sadly, no photos.

*'Burnt' orange Paul Smith loafers. Mum likes 'em, they took a while to grow on me.

*Pointy off white/cream Paul Smith brogues in a dandyish long-toe style. Loved 'em on sight, silly but fun.

*Brown Paul Smith 'aqua brogue' (my personal fave, complete with purple laces. A sucessor of sorts to a pair of PS low-top boots I got 3 years back).

*Adidas white and purple basketball trainers. Like 'em. Won't survive well in GH, so they're resting in London. Not my usual style of trainers (too big/solid), but I likes the purple.

*Black Kurt Geiger slip-on loafers. Very nice, versatile and stylish. Crushed my toes to death first couple of times but I'm getting used to them.

Who's sporting new kicks these days?

oh god, i went into the new schuh store on oxford street last week, and it was amazing! they had a whole kisok of ballet flats in different colors and patterns! i'd just bought my sequin (or 'rainbow trout', to quote alix) shoes, so i couldn't buy another pair of sparkly shoes. but i loved that place.

Grr. I went to the Puma shop on Carnaby St this lunchtime to try and find a pair of trainers that I saw in some expensive boutique - and they didn't have them! Not even in any other colours! What a swizz. So I bought a bar of soap instead.
