nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:22 (twenty-two years ago)

ile : maggie g :: threadbare starving hobos who put their palms on the window of a shop and lick their lips : wax fruit

trife (simon_tr), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:22 (twenty-two years ago)

nickalicious, surely you are used to the jess and ethan fuck-up roadshow by now?

This thread just proves the shocking fact that men are easily pleased.

Is this supposed to be a bad thing? Are we supposed to be more difficult?

N. (nickdastoor), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:23 (twenty-two years ago)

ha ha YOU'RE on ILE trife

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:24 (twenty-two years ago)

b-but trife she plays the banjo!

FUCK YOU, IT'S THE UKELELE

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:24 (twenty-two years ago)

trife's last post made me fucking spit dude, wow.

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:24 (twenty-two years ago)

ethan i think we have to up our lame dick joke quotient so we can stop being "fuck ups"

gabbo giftington (dubplatestyle), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:24 (twenty-two years ago)

dastoor your seamless integration into nu ile says alot about the depth of your character

trife (simon_tr), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:25 (twenty-two years ago)

The weird thing about the Jess and Ethan roadshow is that their commentary is all Statler and Waldorf = it's said publicly, but it's only directed back-and-forth. "Hey, Gabbo, did you just hear that?" etc.

x-post: Okay except that last one.

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:26 (twenty-two years ago)

it must be nice to not include yourself as part of the ILE hivemind you have created in your head so that you can look down on it.

"I NO LIKEY WOTCHOO GUYS DID TO DA MAGGIE G THREAD"

CHIMPO (nickalicious), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:27 (twenty-two years ago)

ETHANP23: he brought it on himself!! 'jess and ethan fuck-up road show', what is he, oops?
ETHANP23: maybe he can start a logistical beatdown thread now

haha X-POST

gabbo giftington (dubplatestyle), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:28 (twenty-two years ago)

The problem is that jess and ethan's running commentary is funnier than about 93% of the jokes I've seen on ILX today, if not a higher percentage. This is similar to Statler and Waldorf, as well.

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:29 (twenty-two years ago)

See, my horrible joke ruined the thread.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Are we supposed to be more difficult?

You mean that you're not?;>

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:30 (twenty-two years ago)

And it's all about making Ally laugh.

oops (Oops), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I'd agree with Ally actually (ethan made me laugh testicles out my nose last night on the Democratic Candidates POO! thread), but I just ain't feelin' it on this thread.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:31 (twenty-two years ago)

why 93% ally? round it up to 95%.

no thread has been ruined as far as i can see.

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:32 (twenty-two years ago)

IT'S LORD OF THE FLIES PEOPLE

gabbo giftington (dubplatestyle), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:32 (twenty-two years ago)

Ha ha - was jess telling you off for being nasty to me?

I don't know what you mean by the nu-ile comment or the logistical breakdown one.

I didn't think 'fuck up roadshow' was offensive. I thought that was self-evidently your thing.

N. (nickdastoor), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:32 (twenty-two years ago)

A thing that, as Ally says, is good.

N. (nickdastoor), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Trife and Jess as nu-Atari Teenage Riot!

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:34 (twenty-two years ago)

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:38 (twenty-two years ago)

"I just ain't feelin it on this thread" like Maggie Gyllenhaal is some kind of sacred object. "We're supposed to be masturbating!!!!"

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:38 (twenty-two years ago)

i want to be al unser jr.

gabbo giftington (dubplatestyle), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:39 (twenty-two years ago)

aw, good ol jel

gabbo giftington (dubplatestyle), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:39 (twenty-two years ago)

jel you're one of the good ones, you know that?

gabbo giftington (dubplatestyle), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:40 (twenty-two years ago)

(I will not let xposts deter me from posting this story.)

A guy in my high school named Rikki Rocket as the smokinest babe in rock. He refused to believe that Rikki was a guy. He finally ended up uttering the classic line, "He is the hottest chick I have ever seen."

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:40 (twenty-two years ago)

What I originally said btw wasn't that I liked her for her personality (I mean fuck I don't know her!) but that the way she was attractive wasn't like how many many others are - her cheek bones don't fit that movie-star-perfection-norm, she's physically built differently, her eyes are further from her ears or something, I dunno, but I never said anything about liking her for her personality, dudes. I don't think ANYBODY said anything like that, actually.

(okay, sorry for this brief serious interuption, we now return you to your regularly scheduled fun idiocy)

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:41 (twenty-two years ago)

(oh, shit, insert this before the return to the fun)

What I meant by "not feeling it on this thread" Ally was that I hadn't read anything trife or jess had posted that has made me laugh on this thread.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Which part of masturbatory fantasy life isn't ridiculous?

N. (nickdastoor), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:42 (twenty-two years ago)

her eyes are further from her ears or something

SHE IS THE BIZARRO UMA THURMAN!

trife (simon_tr), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:42 (twenty-two years ago)

Sometimes I forget that the phrase "not feelin' it" doesn't translate as well onto the page/screen as it does mid-verse.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:43 (twenty-two years ago)

A guy in my high school named Rikki Rocket as the smokinest babe in rock. He refused to believe that Rikki was a guy. He finally ended up uttering the classic line, "He is the hottest chick I have ever seen."

Or, "Lobotomomy in Rock and Roll High School".

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:43 (twenty-two years ago)

what i like about stifler isnt that hes traditionally attractive in that 'movie star perfection' way, i just want to fuck his brains out

trife (simon_tr), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:43 (twenty-two years ago)

gabbo giftington (dubplatestyle), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:45 (twenty-two years ago)

trife, you're totally hitting upon the reasons why I have mad lust for Zero Mostel, dude.

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:46 (twenty-two years ago)

xp: It's not that Maggie is a sacred object, Ally. In fact, it has nothing to do with Maggie at all. It's just that the tone is different here. I usually like Jess and Ethan separately -- but the snickering AIM chats rub me the wrong way.

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:46 (twenty-two years ago)

"separately I like them. together, it is too much for one man to handle. like neapolitan ice cream"

Ally (mlescaut), Wednesday, 10 September 2003 20:47 (twenty-two years ago)
