On 25 St. and 6th Tim H. and I ran into Yanc3y, roommates and friend.

Yanc3y was carrying a painting he had bought at one of the flea markets. It looked like a portrait of a sad clown without the clown make-up.

Oh, so two random ILX sightings:

1. I'm in Sydney at a bar, and I'm just introduced to a friend of a friend, and he goes... "Phil? From New York? I've been reading your posts on ILE!" [what the fuck??]

2. That SAME day at the same bar, this other friend of a friend who I've met a few times and hung out with a few times turns out to be Charlie No.4 from ILM... craziness. insanity.

I am suspicious at how rarely I spot any ILXers. There are loads here in london, and apart from Pete once I have never bumped into any of them. What are the odds? I mean, I've only spent like four or five days in Paris, and I ran into a pal there (I've mentioned this before - it was comic writer Grant Morrison). I think they are hiding from me.

yeah! it seems like everyone and their momma knows [...and loves] chris. i met him via sinister, and he stayed at my place in new york for three weeks, so when i was in sydney, he let me stay at his parents'. was great. his popfrenzy night seems to be going really well. sleepy jackson [or is it sleepy township?] just played, and they have ARE Weapons coming up... which is pretty big, i guess.

i even know this australian girl [miyuki/MJ] from my university in new york who knew chris back from sydney. its strange.
