OK, full disclosure: Someone on my roof shared a smoke with me and I am not used to that, and I am not really sure why I posted that!

next person tries to teach me about JOY IN LIFE gets a tubgirl in return (Jesse), Saturday, 31 July 2010 20:46 (fifteen years ago)

did you actually shart?

del griffith, Saturday, 31 July 2010 20:48 (fifteen years ago)

He confessed that he did NOT. He just thought it was a hilarious thing to say.

kenan, Saturday, 31 July 2010 20:53 (fifteen years ago)

Tangential, but a good article on the guy who beat The Price is Right.

Good quote from Drew Carey:
"Everybody thought someone had cheated. We'd just fired Roger Dobko-witz, and all the fan groups were upset about it. I thought, Fuck, they just fucking fucked us over. Somebody fucked us over."

Bag Smart, Street Stupid (Eazy), Thursday, 5 August 2010 20:16 (fifteen years ago)

He confessed that he did NOT. He just thought it was a hilarious thing to say.

hey wait a minute now - nothing was confessed as to whether or not the shart itself actually occurred, only that what was said was said under the influence of a type of smoke, on a roof. he could've meant that he didn't know why he posted about how he actually sharted his goddamn guts out all over the place, maybe even all over a roof. i want answers!

del griffith, Thursday, 5 August 2010 21:20 (fifteen years ago)

wow jay.

chrisv2010, Thursday, 5 August 2010 22:08 (fifteen years ago)

I actually neither shorted NOR did I post that. I was sure I had posted it but I later learned that it was a prank. While I thought it was me, I felt bad about putting that nonsense on jaymc's thread.

next person tries to teach me about JOY IN LIFE gets a tubgirl in return (Jesse), Thursday, 5 August 2010 22:44 (fifteen years ago)

You mean you don't feel bad for hanging out with the kid of riff raff who posts about you sharting on jaymc's thread?

PS "sharted his goddamn guts out all over the place, maybe even all over a roof" made me loooooooooooollllllll

no gut busting joke can change history (Jenny), Thursday, 5 August 2010 22:56 (fifteen years ago)

It's still making me lol.

no gut busting joke can change history (Jenny), Thursday, 5 August 2010 22:56 (fifteen years ago)

It's strange. I've never met jaymc. I don't think I've addressed him or quoted him. I enjoy many of his posts, but not especially so. But I've been exceptionally excited for his appearance since this thread began.

So will someone post this on MediaFire, etc.?

Allen (etaeoe), Thursday, 5 August 2010 23:27 (fifteen years ago)

My neighbor is in the process of converting my DVD to a video file that he said he could host on his own site. So soon enough, I expect!

jaymc, Friday, 6 August 2010 03:12 (fifteen years ago)

If you watch Jeopardy backwards, it is about three people who ask a guy questions. Then the guy gives a very specific answer to each.

so...jaymc...how did it feel when trebek answered every single one of your questions correctly

dyao, Tuesday, 10 August 2010 22:32 (fifteen years ago)

Tolaca Luke (admrl), Tuesday, 10 August 2010 22:37 (fifteen years ago)

Tolaca Luke (admrl), Tuesday, 10 August 2010 22:37 (fifteen years ago)

haha when i lived in chicago i felt like there was a special montreal-chicago *connection* because i don't know. i guess just because i knew a lot of people from montreal living in chicago, but anyway. it seemed significant.

max clearly only reads ILX through the distorted mirror of the western imperialist media

Tolaca Luke (admrl), Tuesday, 10 August 2010 23:44 (fifteen years ago)

ignoring minnesota is a western value iirc

at work last week, i involuntarily tuned into a conversation two of my colleagues where having on the other side of my partition wall. they were mid conversation about frozen tundras. the woman said something that suggested she was quite familiar with that type of environment. the guy asked incredulously 'waht? you've been to a frozen tundra??' to which she solemnly replied 'i've been to minneapolis.'

actually as far as i can tell this is very representative of who's on jeopardy these days period

Suicide Demo for Kemba Walker (govern yourself accordingly), Sunday, 27 March 2011 17:02 (fifteen years ago)

all i would like to point out, in terms of a semi-spoiler, is that i got one amazingly specific-to-my-interests category ("FICTIONAL BANDS IN MOVIES") that couldn't have been written as better ilxor-bait (iirc there are like four lengthy threads in ilm about that very subject)

the running joke among my friends going in was that i was hoping for something along the lines of "THE 2003 NCAA TOURNAMENT," but that was pretty dang close
