I just googled that goddamn Lebanese thing, here's the first one I found. Too bad I can't get fucking ground lamb around here. And they shouldn't call that stuff stuffing if it's not cooked in the fucking bird.

That recipe is all fucking wrong. It's done with chicken breast only. and no sultanas.

Ok, so. you boil a whole chicken breast for 10 mins with a cinnamon stick and some salt. keep the stock. (and make sure the chicken isn't overcooked, it happened to me and it was a bit dry and nasty).

brown the lamb mince (1/2 kg) in a saucepan on it's own (no oil or nuffin).

Then add a tablespoon of butter with a teaspoon of ground cinnamon and a teaspoon of allspice. Cover the fucking thing and let it cook for maybe 15-20 mins, stirring it fairly frequently.

add 1 1/2 cups of basmati rice and 2 or 3 (i just used all of it) cups of the leftover stock. simmer for 20 more minutes.

brown 1/2 cup of pinenuts and 1/2 cup slivered almonds in a bit of olive oil in a frying pan or whatever's fucking handy.

To serve you put the mince/rice on a big plate or something. Then tear the chicken into smallish morsels and spread it over the rice, then put the nuts on the top of that, and then chuck on a bit more ground cinnamon on top for good times.
